How do people progress into pumps and clamps?

Hi all.

This is something that’s been on the back of my head — because isn’t it more sensible to stick with manual techniques for gaining if you commit with it?
When and why did you progress into these devices?

When I came back to PE I went straight to pumping I don’t recommend anyone else do that and I regret not going manually first. But I’ve conditioned thru trial and error then I gained. I can’t say all my gains are permanent because I only recently stopped pumping for a decon break and my EQ hasn’t been good enough for a true measurement. The best thinking is to max out your manual gains and move on as you see fit for you and your daily schedule. Even tho I didn’t go that route I feel it’s the right road to follow.

I tend to believe when I can get a true measurement that I’ve definitely cemented some gains. My flaccid looks completely different these days regardless of EQ. My stretch flaccid is also longer and easier to stretch, and I fill a 2 inch tube almost fully now while reaching above 7 inches in the tube. Those are all indications of permanent growth. Just remember pumping takes time, like many years

Yes, gains plateauing seems to be the time to step up into devices. Kingscountry, you mention conditioning through trial and error — what ways did you assess what was working and not? Was it down to EQ and PI’s?

Have there been cases of users going into devices after a number of months/years with no gains to begin with?

Mostly EQ and fluid build up, red spots which are burts blood vessels are normal unless its to an extreme. I still get fluid build up but no where near as bad, and I still get the red spots and light bruising after time off. So yea it was negative PI’s that I used and I still do.

I started clamping after about 6wk of PE. Up to you man read your body.
