How accurate are the in-pump measurements?

Not currently a pumper, but at a set vacuum, it seems the pump measurement might be the most accurate way of tracking length gains.

Have you pump guys found that to be true?

The best real world accurate measurement is to get your best hard on and a ruler, lay it on top of your cock, bone press it and take your measurement.

There are all sorts of questions on this site about guys trying to figure out why their measurements while pumping don’t jive with their regular ruler measurements and usually the pump measurement comes up short.

You can track your measurement any way you want to, but don’t bug us why different ways of measuring produce different results.

You can track your pumping gains by marking your cylinder with tape at the point the tip of your erection reaches at a specific vacuum level (5 hg for example) and after a specific time (10 minutes for example). Periodically you can check to see if the tip of your erection moves beyond the edge of the tape. However, as Gprent already mentioned, the pumped measuremet is not comparable to any other measurement. It is only good to assure yourself that your pumping routine is effective.

I just started pumping a week ago today and on average I’m about 1/4 to 1/2 shorter then my bpfsl but I’m using the wrong size cylinder and have no gauge… I don’t get doughnut or funky coloring at high suction …

3 sets of 10 to 15 minutes each. I also jelq for about 5 minutes between each set. I think i may be conditioned from jelqing for the past year and I noticed the pump effect has been lasting longer each day..

I also have to say that my night wood has been awesome and so is the flaccid hang..

Your routine seems fine. Apparently, your vacuume level is not that high if you have not encountered any issues.

Actually I think I’m pumping at a high vacuum at times and notice that I do start to get dark at the base but pull out and jelq and the darkness goes away…

I last used my penis pump about a year? Ago. I stopped using it because I got a water blister on my head, and my homemade pump mechanism bit the bullet amongst other reasons.

So now I have an automotive pump (bicycle pump style) that I dug up from my cluttered basement, and looking at my masking tape max length measurement I see that I can go beyond the max by about 5mm now.
That is from no real routine, other than making sure my boners are ROCK HARD combined with squeezing, slight stress bending and regularly doing that.
Just no set routine, but I always encourage growth by making my penis try to hold more blood than normal for long periods.
I believe that is called ‘edging’,

I believe length gains can result from edging alone.
