I made my own rice sock recently by just adding 2 cups of Walmart great value rice in a sock and thing the calf part of the sock in a knot.. But it started to get kinda gross looking after a couple off days so I trashed it.
Obviously these socks have to be heated with water for a couple minutes.? Right? Do yours get soggy or cook after awhile of using? Or do you have your rice sock in water when you heat it? What has worked for you! I’m interested

No mate, no water - that’s why it’s getting gross. Just toss it in the microwave for a minute or two.

I have been personally using electric heating pad for months already since it is much more convinient.

Thanks for the feedback. It begs me to ask the question though if I should just use a wet wash cloth and keep dipping it into hot water to reheat it or use the heated rice sock with no water but lose out on the benefit of moist heat

Use a rice sock dry. Or you can get a vinyl microwaveable gel pack cheaply from many drugstores, which you use over a damp towel - it’s the best solution for moist heat (which is beneficial).
