I’ve been lurking for awhile and trying to register, but every time I tried I either got the “100 people already” or “only on these days” message, but now I finally got in!

I’ve been using the newbie routine for about 2 weeks now, not really sure if I have any gains yet (I’d expect it to take a little longer), but I also haven’t been measuring (reason being I’d rather just see the results in the mirror then next to a ruler.)

I’d like to incorporate some sort of ADS but really don’t know where to start. I’ve looked through all the home-made ones and they all seem a little bit to complicated for me (or I could just be looking at them in the entirely wrong way), but I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on a system you can buy over the internet that does it’s job and isn’t to pricey.

I apologize if this has been asked a million times, but I can’t really find a thread that exactly answers what I am looking for. If it has been asked a million times, then just take this as an introduction thread! Lol

I’m not sure of the pricing, but definately an ADS is over $100. Take your time to read through the homemade ADS. Most are easy to construct, and they are very cheap.

You really should use a ruler. The gains come, but if you’re like me (and I would guess most of the people here) you don’t really notice the gains until you put it against a ruler. I guess it’s like watching my 1 year old grow, I don’t really notice her getting bigger everyday, but I know she is.

Plus it’s nice to know where you started at.

Yea I might just consider trying a ruler to see my progress.

I’m also considering start to lightly clamp to see if I can get any gains from that. Going to try the search button to see what I can dig up, but is there a newbie guide to clamping here?

I wouldn’t recommend clamping just yet. You dont want to risk an injury to slow you down at the start of things. Just do the normal newbie routine untill you get conditioned. If you have been lurking for a while you should know that without me having to tell you.
