Remember the #1 PE rule- Pain is BAD.

Dial back on your jelq intensity until you get a better ‘handle’ on how your unit takes to it.

If the newbie routine was too much, cut it in half [the routine, not the unit!].

Still too much?

Reduce jelqing to minimal and focus on gentle stretching.

Remember that when in doubt, apply heat.

When in doubt, ‘take a knee’.

When in doubt, discretion is the better part of valor.

The newb routine is a maximum that most new PEers should use until their units are conditioned.

It’s also a familiarization period with your unit- where you get to meet your dick up close and personal- not as merely a conduit for piss and cum.

Anyone that tells you that they are expert on your unit is bullshit- we can only work from our own experience and that of others as we understand that to be.

Yes I am aware, pain is bad, of course.. But I’m more trying to find out what I could have injured.. I have been reluctantly taking gentle exercises back as the sensation begins to fade, in fact it is more like a clenching pain, and it only seems to come along whenever I’m erect, and stretching the ligaments seems to mitigate it.

I also want to know if it’s safe to proceed in to the routine - which I have been extremely gentle in doing. I boil water, let it cool down a little, and then do the warm wrap as instructed too.

Plus what also bothers me is my body should be quite used to it, I was jelqing for 3 weeks before I found the site as I mentioned, that’s what concerns me the most, because it doesn’t make sense to me.

But you are the veteran :P

And as a ‘veteran’ I’ve learned that the penis is a mysterious and wondrous thing that only each of us can experience directly.

What did you do? I don’t know. The point is that if it hurts, then fucking well stop doing what hurts.

If it hurts when erect, don’t get it erect unless it happens naturally. Warm it up, let it heal.

If you are really concerned, then see your urologist, and carefully inform him of your PE efforts [although you might prefer to couch it in terms of sexual activity] and check with him as to what may have caused it.

Just because your dick ‘should’ have been ‘conditioned’ doesn’t mean that it was for what you did that day- as it clearly wasn’t.

If in any doubt about whether it’s safe to proceed, don’t- no matter what anyone here says.

Andro knows his stuff. Rest it and when you come back warm up for 10 minutes. I mean really warm it up and warm down in hot shower. The area up around your pubic bone too. The ligs attach way up in your belly. I used to have the same pains when I started. I was shoddy for like the first year in my PE. Only for the past 6 months have I been using my brain and using the warm ups and warm downs extensively. The first year I wish I was not so lackluster and sporadic with my exercises. I grew but not like I could have grown. And I got hurt once or twice because of no warm ups. Just be smart. You only have one dick.

Oh you bet I use warm ups and warm downs.. I can’t shower warm though, I have to heat water on the stove right now so that ends up not being enough.

I was also thinking of using Sparkyx’s routine when I can finally do the exercises again, though I’m worried that’ll take far too long.. It seems to work very well.

Great with the warm ups RD. Listen I am still learning big time. I over-trained in the past week. My raging erect length reached 7 inches (6.5 NBP) and my average girth neared 6 inches. But alas I blew it and kept up the hardcore routine and now my girth and length have decreased. It is definitely a science to it. Don’t give up. I am now going back to a lighter routine again and get back what I lost. I have been resting and it is coming back slowly. It is a very slow thing this PE.

Okay time for a new update, and I’m glad on this one..

On Wednesday I dared a gentle workout.. To see if maybe I could continue even with the minor pain and much to my pleasure I not only pinpointed the spot to touch to trigger the pain and what seems to be the location of it.

But much to my satisfaction - as I’m sure many guys do, I have still been masturbating.. And Thursday, which I allowed to be an off day, surprised me as I had what I could easily call the strongest orgasm of my life, and I seriously resisted the urge, but I had been getting remarkably hard frequently over the course of several hours. So..

The pain however seems to be originating from somewhere inside the head of my dick and is restricted to the right side. I think what I want to do is consider omitting the stretch in place of a more effective Jelq session, considering I’d been jelqing much longer, and then it would resemble Sparkyx’s routine, which I rather like.

My question is:
Can I go back to the exercises?

I would drop jelqing for a bit as you’re creating pressures that can interact with your hydraulic system in unpredictable ways.

Take a week off.

Heat and gentle stretching and kegels.

What’s the hurry?

Sounds like even though you went easy in your mind, you may have actually went to hard.

Did you start real real easy? When I started I went real real real easy. And didnt do over 30 jelgs.

Actually, the very first time I tried this I did about 15 jelgs and didn’t even stretch.

Also, from what I have read it should be at about 40 to 60 % erect.

And I always warmup with very warm water. Actually, it’s hot water on a towel that I ease gently on my member for a good 5 mins.

The only way I could’ve gone harder than I thought I did is not knowing my own strength.. Because I do a fair amount of working out.

But naw, like I said I’ve been doing jelqs for 3 weeks before starting the newbie routine. And never before did I have any pain.

So I’m all better, any traces of pain are gone and I’ve started my log over - yes I’ve been keeping a log.. I’ve picked up with a slight alteration to the newbie routine.. The normal stretches after my very intensive warmup. Then 150 wet jelqs with my member pointed downward. Though I was thinking of switching the jelqs and the stretches around as a little experiment.

I strongly suggest that you place your jelqs first in your routine.
