Help needed. Length before Girth? Or does it matter?

Help needed. Length before Girth? Or does it matter?

Just looking to get some direction as to whether or not I need to focus on Length first, then Girth later? Or is it ok to go after girth first? The last thing I want is a long, but skinny, weiner!

I’ve been fairly focused on Girth in my routine, and seem to be seeing results. But I just read in a thread today that if I gain in girth early on, it may inhibit my ability to gain in length?

Any direction much appreciated!

That debate is all theory. When you’ve exhausted your Newbie Gains and been at it a few years it’ll be more relevant.

Whatever is giving any gains is the best routine and doesn’t need to be changed until it stops.

My Extender and forward to 10" and balls enhancement project. There is no "Holy Grail" of Penis Enlargement. Only time and effort works. I'm *10* years in and counting. All you have to do is put the work in and keep the faith.

It doesn’t matter at all. You should be happy with any gains you get, so go for what you want the most.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

It depends on perspective. I aim to gain length but keep gaining mostly girth. Since girth is already my strong suit, I’ll take even more, gladly. If I gain much more, it’ll push me further towards “abnormally large”. I’m ok with that. Ok, I’d actually be ecstatic about that.

I consider a 6.75” girth to be abnormally large.

Great to know Thoughtfulgold. Thanks for the advice! Coming from one of your accolades, then I’ll take it as gospel. Will continue with what’s working.

Follow-up question: Albeit theory, is it the consensus that focus should be on one or the other to achieve better gains in Length or Girth first, then change to focus on the other once Plateaus are hit?

I’m far from a “gym rat” but have spent my fair amount of time hitting weights, etc. It seems almost like what I’m reading in various threads here seems akin to the mentality in body sculpting around “Muscle Mass” gains vs. “Fat Loss.” The idea is to first focus on gaining mass, bulking up, then after the fact, trim down and burn calories/fat to achieve a lean muscle build.

Is that the approach to take here? First focus on Length or Girth, then shift to focus on the other? Or is it possible to focus on both and make simultaneous gains?

I say this on a regular basis to newbies and I do not say it to be offensive but the theory is useless at this point in your PE endeavors. The way that newbie gains can work versus the way you will gain later is so different that the theory doesn’t apply. In short, don’t worry about theory. Do what works, what you’re comfortable with, and gain as you will.

All of the factors that you’re talking about are interesting and relevant but not so early in your PE endeavors. Plus, your physical fitness has no bearing on how you will gain. Some tissue with some people is more elastic in certain ways than others and it varies based on unknown factors. The variance is so high and layered that I simply cannot give you any idea of how to apply these theories until you have a working knowledge base of your penis, how it reacts to PE and how you perform it.

I talk about that here in Advice I wish someone had given me when I first started.

Don’t over think, just do, be safe and comfortable for now.
