Help increasing length past newbie gains

I’m going to ask some questions that will frustrate some since they’ll say that there’s threads already about it. But I have to post it here for two reason. First, I work three jobs and go to school part-time. Along with working out and PE-ing. I have no time to research the specific questions. Secondly, I’m hoping that maybe someone else has new insight to help me out.

1) I’m looking to gain anything by May. I think I maxed out my gains from manual exercises. To gain the most in that amount of time should I use an extender or hang? Does anyone recommend that I just continue with manual?

2) If I hang, what are the dangers of injury? I’m willing to take it slow and add weight at a very slow pace.

3) Is there a way to prevent discoloration from hanging?

4) Is there a device that I can wear around in my pants that won’t be obvious? I don’t have much free time alone and might have to wear someone to work or out on the go.

5) What are the cons to an extender?

6) I’m uncut will that affect me when choosing a device?

I wish I could just continue on with manual exercises but it doesn’t look like I will gain anything else from it.

1. Adopt a long term attitude. Rather than, I want to gain by this or that date, think in terms of I want to gain this or that amount, and I’ll continue as long as it takes to achieve it. As for extender, hanger, or manual - everybody gains differently, and the only way to get a “right” answer to that question is to find the right answer for you via personal experimentation. I personally gained another 0.5 inch beyond my newbie manual gains by going to a Bib hanger while continuing the manual routine.

2. Hanging requires mastery of technique. If you happen to have very good technique from the beginning, the risks of injury are very low, practically zero. Unfortunately there’s no easy way to learn technique other than trial and error, and doing a lot of reading. The biggest danger is cutting off circulation for too long, and so limit your hanging sets to 15-20 minutes on, and 5-10 minute breaks. Another danger is pinching the dorsal nerve in the penis causing temporary numbness. Another “danger” I experienced was lower back pain. You may have to invest a lot of time and energy in setting up your hanger just the right way, and finding a comfortable position to hang that won’t aggravate your back. Out of all the forms of PE, hanging is the biggest time drain in my opinion, so it might not be a good fit for you. It’s conventional wisdom around here that you want at least 10 hours per week in the hanger, which works out to more like 15 hours when you factor in all the breaks and wrapping.

3. I didn’t find discoloration to be a problem with hanging, but if you do, the solution is to work on your technique to get better circulation. Or lower your set times to refresh the penis with oxygenated blood more often.

4. I’m loving the “Cock Coil ADS” you can search that for a thread of the same name on how to make it.

5. Haven’t done any extending.

6. Uncut guys have more challenges with getting a good attachment in hanging. It’s doable, just requires more technique.

Keep in mind that gains slow down a lot after the newbie period for most guys. You may even still be gaining with manual, at a nearly imperceptible pace. Be patient with whatever you choose, and if you do go with hanging, I recommend reading some of the basic threads in the hanger’s forum. Another thing you can try to spark post-newbie gains is incorporating regular decon breaks. Good luck.

Agree with BeardedDragon. If you don’t have the time to commit then hanging isn’t going to be for you.

1) Yeah gains are slow
2) After my experience I would say like none, I hung such heavy weights and then moved to such heavier weights so quickly(was hanging with the intent to feel pain/damage body), but then, thats me, but I think hanging is safe.
3) Let penis breathe, but that probably wouldn’t happen.

How long did it pass since you stopped gainig from the newbie and decided to jump to hanging?

When conguering a golddigger you need a large bank account, when conquering a dickdigger you need a large tool. When conquering a woman you need a minimum of three things: money, class and yes: dick size. Good news are, you can actually improve in all these three aspects.

MasterSplither, I agree with every guy here. If you are so busy, hanging is not an option. Coolest thing for you would be extending while you multitask, You can also multitask while hanging but in requires you to stay in your desk for a long while. keep the good jelqing up and change the type of stretches to a more severe ones might work. good luck mate

Hey quim,

I started hanging after about 6-7 months of the newbie routine and manual work. My newbie gains slowed down at about 4 months.

Sorry to change subject in your thread MS. You can benefit i think as you are in the same situation.

What kind of manual routine you last did before hanging? I am stretching from 40min to 1h almost everyday. I hope I’m not toughening up my tisdues much….

After manuals and before hanging. Did you take a Decon break bearded dragon? Why don’t you still hang man?

I’m asking all this as I am also tired of not passing my newbie gains for months from manuals and want to break plateau like you MS.

I used the newbie routine for about the first 6 months, with slight variations on the volume and frequency of workouts. But it was simple stretching and wet jelqs, mostly. Back then I took a week off once every month or two. Now I take longer decon breaks, anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months.

I’ve done a few bouts of hanging, each lasting about 2-3 months, and each giving a little length gain. The last time I did it, I pinched the dorsal nerve and had a half numb dick for a week. That scared me off it for a while, but I’ll probably be doing another round of it later this year after modifying a Bib Hardcore for better attachment. Right now I’m testing out pumping, though.

I think experimenting with decon breaks and new methods to break plateaus are both good ideas after the newbie gains slow down. Keep in mind that after the newbie period, it’s not uncommon for a measurable gain to take several months. Plateaus are the new normal. I’m OK with slow gains as long as they keep coming year after year.

In my case I did Ullis+jelqs+stretching 4 or 5 months, then 2-3 months of just jelqing, now its been 2-3 months of stretching (1h almost everyday)+jelqs. I have never taken a full time off except a few days due to a trip and I remember after coming back my EQ was great.
Perhaps it is good your tecnique of taking 1-2 weeks off every 2 months. But for instance Bib advises against decon breaks from length gains. You still made gains hanging tho. Overall kinda confusing.
Thanks BB appreciate your interest in responding openly and your work in the Highlights gainers thread.
What do you think MasterSplither, will you take some time off and change method? I persoanlly will keep on doing with stretches jelqs and a few Ullis for a few months.

Glad to be of help. Bib’s style of no rest days, and riding the fatigue works well for some guys, but I think most guys benefit from rest days and decon breaks.

You’d like the cock coil ADS also. It’s a great way to do more without overdoing it.

So how much did you gain from wet jelqing and stretching, am currently doing that right now with the addition of pumping because of your big gainer highlight. Also, since i’m curious as why I only gained .2 in my first month of hanging, would you mind sharing your frequency on hanging?

Lol, what is your PE history?

Lol, what is your PE history?

I gained about 0.6” x 0.2” from the newbie routine over 6 months, and most of that was in the first 4 months. A 0.2” gain in one month of hanging is a great result, at that rate you would gain 2.4” in a year! When I was hanging, I would go for 2-3 months at a time, hanging every day like Bib. If and when I do some more hanging, I intend to experiment with rest days and IPR principles. But I believe that will require a much better attachment than I could get in the past.

My PE history has been consistently all over the place. I started at 5.5” x 4.1”. I’ve tried a little bit of everything, with each new method going 2-3 months at a time. But I’ve stayed consistent, with probably 8-9 months of each year being ‘on’ time. I went through the same kind of post-newbie gains “now what?” period in which I was questing for more quick gains. For me, ultimately the answer was that now the gains come slower, but they do keep coming.

I’ve got a progress thread here.
BD Update Thread

Around the 6 month mark for me, I posted something in my log that was about the same topic of this thread. I was 6.1” x 4.3” at the time. I have hit a post-newbie plateau, I said. And it felt like a plateau because it was so much slower than the newbie gains. But now I am 6.7” x 4.5” after 2 more years. I can’t point to any single method that is responsible for my gains. I think they all work in their own way, and over enough time accumulate to measurable gains.

Even if you can gain consistently at 1 cubic inch per year of volume, after the newbie period, there still may be periods of 6-8 months where there’s no measurable gain in length or girth. And I think 1 cubic inch per year is an excellent long term gain rate. So keep that in mind, even at a relatively fast post-newbie gain rate, 6-8 months may go by without measuring a gain.

Hey, thanks for the replies. I should clarify, I have very little time to put into manual exercises at the moment but I have have a fair bit of alone time doing work at home. If I can use my hands to do work on the computer I have about 6 hours a day. Maybe you’re right about the hanging. If I have to constantly be taking it off and massaging my dick I guess it still isn’t the best route for me. Would love to try it but can’t waste any money if I have to constantly soend time adjusting. Also, I’m working at home right now and might be able to do so for months but I could be called in to work at the office so I might need something that I can wear there and not be visible. At a confusing point of what I should invest in.
