Help - Girth measurement.

Hey guys, I’m looking for the correct method of measuring EG. I have previously tape-measured around the base, mid-shaft and head. But I’m not sure I got the method right.

Help.

When speaking of EG, they are mostly reporting the best of the three (mid-shaft, base, top); normally, the biggest of those measurements is mid-shaft girth. Hope this help.

Some people use a shoelace or a piece of string for a better measurement and then lay it down next to a ruler. Also, most people use the mid-shaft measurement as their girth (unless otherwise noted).

I just use one of those soft taylor’s type of tape measure. No chance of stretching like there is with a piece of string. If I wanted to ge a bigger measurement, I’d go around the head or base, but I go right around at the base side of the circumcision scar, to make sure I’m at the same place every time.

Fair guys I was using a tape measure and measuring the girth in inches and not taking it off and putting it on a ruler.. Do you think I should move it to a ruler then?

If you are talking about a carpenters tape measure you should re-think your method. If you are using a cloth tape then I’m sure your measurement is accurate.

I don’t think you could get a very accurate girth measurement bending a piece of tin around your johnson.

Haha…i didn’t know what a carpenter’s tape measure was. Didn’t know it was made of tin.

Is that right? My base girth far exceeds my mid girth and top girth! I have always given, and counted, my mid as the correct one as it’s closest to an average of all three I suppose.

My base is about 5 3/4” - 6” whilst my mid is only just over 5”

I have to say that the mid measurement is easier to gauge changes with though as base is tricky to measure with much accuracy.
