So the downlow of all my concern today goes back a little while

For a couple months now, whenever I masturbate, for about an hour or so after my dick would kinda turtle and flaccid feel harder then return to normal. I began PE just last week and have been doing a pretty light routine of 10x 20 second stretches straight out followed by 50 jelqs, last night I did the same routine with 5 minutes of edging, and since then I’m thwart with concern because I read a horror hard flaccid post and all day today if had a firmer flaccid (like I can bend it back 180 no pain but definitely feels a lot harder) and poor EQ (but I’m pretty concerned so to be expected really) so I’m worried I’ve overtrained myself by using excessive force and got hard flaccid

Will this just be a short term injury? Is anxiety the problem? I’m guessing I should lay off PE but for how long? Can you continue PE with this?

Really need answers so any advice is highly appreciated, I really don’t need such an injury right now because I’m doing what I can to better myself and love doing PE

I just love when Dr Anxiety makes a diagnosis. You have no pain, no problems yet your penis feels fuller. Gee that’s what pe does. Now the poor EQ comes from a bit of fatigue and all that anxiety. Your fine and do yourself a favor; don’t read any articles on brain tumors!

Your dick is going to take a some time to adjust to even the slightest amount of PE if it’s something you’ve never done before. You’ve only been at it a week so there’s definilty stresses your dick has never experienced before. Jimmybob is right anxiety is a killer as well.

What erection level are you jelqing at and what type of intensity are you using while jelqing? It sounds to me like you are just overdoing a little bit. Maybe too high of an erection level and too much pressure in your jelqs. Which is going to cause all of your symptoms . Also have you been using hear to warm up with? It’s incredibly important.

+1… your mind is a powerful thing… go and have a beer, and relax.

Maybe have a look at the Linear Routine, it’s a lot easier on your penis than the Newbie Routine. Be conservative with adding more reps over the weeks. Be careful with erection level and technique.

And don’t start adding things, follow the Routine as described… I don’t believe 5 mins of edging is part of the Routine. Use heat.

Remember, having a bigger penis is one of the side effects of PE, and a big flaccid is a good sign your moving in the right direction ;)

True, but I didnt experience this during my first 2 sessions of the same intensity.

I’ve been jelqing at around 70% but maybe a little over at times because I find it difficult not to get an erection when jelqing as I’m easily aroused I guess. Granted I probably used too much pressure, just getting to grips with what works but guessing I’ve overdid it to end up like this. I’ve been using a heating pad to warm up with approximately 10 minutes my dick is pretty warm to the touch when I’m done so I’m guessing its effective. One thing I do note is that today its still pretty hard but I woke up in the middle of the night for a feel and it felt normal, again so when I woke up first thing in the morning, then inevitably I felt anxious again and back to square one. Out of curiousity I did some helicopter shakes and it felt normal again but back to hard after a few seconds, could poor circulation be the issue here? Really want to solve this dude my head is a mess atm :(

If only dude, been trying to reassure myself all day, I wasn’t following a routine here mate I’ve only just joined, and my penis isnt bigger, I’ve actually turtled somewhat for the last two days

Maybe PE is something you should not do. If you are going to get stressed out about a perceived injury you don’t have doing more will only stress you more. Hey this stuff isn’t for everyone. Now I’ll go have that beer.

What exactly are you concerned about? Would you have ever thought you had a hard flaccid if you didn’t go and read about it? And you don’t but it seems this whole process will stress you too much so why do it? Leave your dick alone for a few days, you know no playing or masturbating and you’ll find there is nothing wrong.

Just that it won’t go man :( I think I’ve psyched myself into this which sucks, ill defo be leaving it a week or so to see if it improves, helicopter shakes make it feel normal again momentarily so is there a circulation issue? And I’ve actually injured myself? Just mad that something like this could occur so easily

You’ve hit the nail right on the head there. You’re pshcying yourself out which is going to make you anxious. Which in turn could actually be aiding in giving you a turtle effect. If I get anxious or nervous about something the first place I notice it is in my heart/chest. And the second is my dick. Seriously. I’ve stressed about stuff in the past and it has caused my dick to turtle, which will give you a hard flaccid effect. That coupled with the fact that you’re doing these new exercises which at first can cause you to turtle a bit on their own just makes it a constant circle.
Ex. 1 you turtle a bit from new PE
2 you get anxiety over the fact you’ve turtles
3. Anxiety causes pro longed turtling
4 turtling causes further anxiety
5 anxiety causes turtling.

My advice. Stop stressing about it. Leave your dick alone for a week or 2 or 3 or forever if you so desire. You’re mind will become occupied with other stuff and you’ll realize that you are all good!

No doubt with this, but the fact shaking my dick around loosens it up seems a bit concerning don’t you think? However ill take a little time off and if everythings back to normal I will continue, I really want to PE man, I actually enjoy doing it and I want want to fix my curvature as well as gain a little, hoping all goes well, I’m trying to keep my mind off it
