Has anyone had pelvis ultrasound?

Has anyone had pelvis ultrasound?

I have appointment on Monday for Pelvis Ultrasound, what exactly it is? Will it check my nerves, vessels etc?

And also I want to ask if corpus spongiosum have some nerves in it? And if It was damage does it cause soft glans while erect?
Thanks.

Sounds like it’s to check your Anus. I’ve read somewhere that this procedure is used to check the bladder, seminal vesicles and prostate.

I can imagine the Penis having nerve ending seeing that it’s so sensitive so I think it’s possible to damage them. I’m circumcised and I know for sure that my glans are not very sensitive.

Ultrasound is used in one of two modalities (or both).

Gray-scale ultrasound gives a 2 dimensional image of structures based on relative densities. Sound waves are bounced off of interfaces at which structures of different densities meet, like sonar detecting a submarine underwater.

Doppler ultrasound detects movement (typically blood flow) based on the shift in sound frequency caused by movement (of the red blood cells) dictated by the Doppler principle. It can be used to asses blood flow within the penis and the arteries feeding it and the veins draining it (in the pelvis).

Duplex ultrasound uses both modalities simultaneously.

I’ve had it done. Completely painless. They slather you with gel and run a small, hand-held remote-like instrument over your abdomen. If they are concentrating on your penis, they’ll give you a shot to get you erect, then proceed as with the abdomen. Doesn’t take long and is non-invasive.

There are nerve bundles all over the penis.

You’re worried about soft glans whilst errect? Is this the purpose of the pelvis ultrasound?

How soft are we talking here? Because I’ve read quite a lot of posts from people who have the same problem. I have it myself. I think it was came to the conclusion that most people do have pretty soft not full glans with a full 100% erect. Only 40% of men are lucky enough to get fully hard glans. I can only get mine full if I kegel really hard.

Has it always been this way for you? Perhaps you’re having worse EQ and for some people PE can cause it (so some people have posted) although it’s believed you’re more likely to notice it after starting PE when you pay such close attention to it.

Oh and I doubt there is such a thing as a penis ultrasound. But yes keep me updated. If there is a way to get full glans I’d love to do it.

Before my injury it was fuller now it’s weaker and sometimes completely soft even if I have 100% erection. Yes there is penis ultrasound The pelvis ultrasound includes Bladder, prostate and penis itself.

And pelvic area

I’m going to have the test done in Monday and than I’m gonna go on MRI scan after I will have these test done I will keep you updated.
