I don’t know about that, but what I do know is that plenty of people have been hurt because they didn’t.

Congratulation to all folks who gained without warming up!

I never forget warming up. Maybe I care and worry too much about getting hurt, but I still believe it is safer to start PE with warming up.

Routine : Manual-V-Inverted V-JAI-BTC stretches (alot of stretches :D ). Wet Jelq, Pumping (once a week to maintain my girth)

Actually, the times I developement blood blisters were usually under extreme,heated hangs.

Didn’t use warmups due to the lack of time in the morning.

I get the idea that hanging without warmups results in a shower rather than a grower, but

I got no consenus on this when I first purposed this idea a while ago.

Although I’ve shrunk from my best stats, even though I only sporadically PE now, I am

bigger now than when I began, especially flacid. I’m still not to where I was length-wise as a kid,

but certainly thicker. Again just a feeling, but I think I would have lost more of my gains if my gains

had had as a factor a warming up period.

BUT no doubt about it, injure yourself and you can hang PE up for a long while. I do miss the

endorphines from hanging down.

Warming up is not as big an issue during the summer when it’s hot anyway. But I wouldn’t try strapping 20# to my dick during the winter without 5 minutes or so under the rice sock.

Warming up definitely helps the tissues to stretch further while the heat is on. I have no idea whether this translates into greater gains over the long term, however.

My practice these days is to warm up for the first set or 2, if I can. Otherwise, it’s straight into my lovely Wenchette.

Well it’s pretty much common sense that warming your skin softens it and results in the ability to stretch it farther, but if your lazy like I am and don’t want to warm up with water you can just wrap a sock around your unit and use your own body heat to warm it up

I don’t think your own body heat is going to cut it. An interesting read here: Benefits of Heat in PE , particularly:

“Infrared heat increases the extensibility of collagen tissues. Tissues heated to 45C (112F) and then stretched exhibit a nonelastic residual elongation of about 0.5 to 0.9 percent that persists after the stretch is removed. This does not occur in these same tissues when stretched at normal tissue temperature. Thus 20 stretching sessions can produce a 10 – 18% increase in length in tissues heated and stretched.”
