As you can read from my “riveting” journal entries, I’m about a week into this whole PE thing going the newbie jelqing routine. The first time I didn’t see any bruising anywhere. The second time was the first time I saw some but solely on the glans. I had always assumed that was from the jelqing. However today I noticed the bruising before my jelqs but after my stretching. Along with some dry skin from the stretching, I’m thinking I’m doing something wrong with the way I’m doing the holds during the stretches.

I’m doing the basic stretches and as far as I can tell I’m doing it just like in the video, with the reverse “OK” grip comparable to the jelq grip. I want to get the right stretch. As far as I can tell the stretch isn’t as much for the penis as it is for the ligaments. Therefore I should be able to grip as far up as necessary to avoid both of these problems, right? In the up-stretch it appears that more grip is used when a second hand is used. I’d be interested to hear from the other members about their thoughts on this.

I’m in the same boat. A little over a week in. I’ve had a bit of bruising on my glans as well and I’m sure it’s from stretching b/c I skipped the stretching for a day (then had an off day) when I first noticed and it went away. After a brief but thorough stretch sequence yesterday, the small, faint bruising spots are back. It’s not severe, it doesn’t hurt and it’s the only negative PI I’ve had. I’m using pretty much the same techniques, but I like to add A and V stretches, not only do I get a better lig stretch that way (it seems) but I work the tunica more as well.I think. But with this technique I can’t just tug on the shaft (though sometimes I start there in case I slip and when I slip, I re-grip and do the angled/bent stretches).

Sorry I don’t really have any advice, but I hope you don’t mind if I piggy back off of your post and reap the advice. It’s easier to track if I posted in it.

Goal 2. Get to atleast 7.5" x 5.75" (who knows, it's up to wifey if I want to shoot for higher) so I can feel solidly above average.

Only thing I can really suggest is try implementing this “firegoat roll” discoloration prevention, control, and removal after each exercise(and before if you want) and maybe try some powder just incase your gripping to hard you wont have to grip as much to keep the same amount of tension. Tell us how it goes.

Well I don’t have discoloration. What I have are the 1/32” to 1/16” bruising points and they go away within a day or two. Similarly, it’s a dry skin thing not a discoloration thing. I put moisturizer on after my last session and I didn’t have the dry skin ring like before, so I think I’ve fixed the dry skin issue. Can I just choke up on the shaft and get the same benefit if the stretch, or is part of the stretch about stretching all of the penile tissue all the way up to the glans too?

First alternative stretches only the ligaments. The second one stretches both ligaments and tunica. Obviously the second is more effective.

hmm, without seeing a picture, or a little more detailed description of the bruising you are getting it is difficult to give accurate advice.

if the bruising that you see is the little spots on your glands (head) then, if from stretching, it is often caused by the pressure in your head when pulling. If you have a good grip and have ballooned your head to make an easier grip, as you pull you are applying even more pressure in your head and if not conditioned you will cause these little red spots. To prevent this you just need to quit pulling so hard at first and give your penis a chance to condition. Don’t let your head get quite so full when gripping.
If it is not these spots, but rather it is little spots on your shaft, the same type of thing is happening and often means you have not conditioned your penis enough yet for the amount of pressure you are creating in that local area. On your shaft it could also be cause by pinching a local vessel under where you are gripping.
In my opinion, one of the most common faults we have is jumping into PE too hard too fast. For most of us it takes self control to keep from working PE too hard.

Ligthen your grip guys. Probably you are also pulling with too much force.

Nope, no discomfort. My dick is probably between flaccid and 20% erection (which I thought was close enough). The head is not engorged or anything either. I do notice that there is no blood in it when I let go. By that I mean the skin around the head and just below is pale and you can watch it fill with blood when I let go. I’ll try a lighter grip and see if I can get just as much stretch of the ligaments.

Well I don’t see how you could bruise it unless the grip was too strong. Make sure there’s no blood in glans and don’t grip too strong and I think you should be fine.

Thanks guys. This sounds about right for me too. I think I am getting greedy, trying to use force to make up for the lack of time I can dedicate. Really, I’m just getting some of those small speckled bruises on my head. They are becoming less appearent as I get further along and no pain or swelling or other bad PIs.

I guess it might be time to tell my wife so I can do this stuff a little more correctly (also, in a few months I’m thinking of buying a pump so I’d have to tell her by then anyway).

The line between discomfort and pain seems narrow. I feel discomfort anytime I’m not have sex, jacking off or just sitting flaccid. That is to say, penises are sensitive, if I didn’t feel any discomfort would I really being doing anything? I feel a slight squeezing discomfort in my head, and a slight burning in my ligs (the shaft has no real discomfort) when I do stretches and my skin gets a little irritated when I jelq. None of the above has seemed at all alarming to me. For the few exercises I’m doing I feel like I’m applying no more pressure than the guy in the forum vids and maybe even a little less force on jelqs.

AvgGuyUSA how do you feel now? Do you achieve in stretching with a a lighter grip and do you gets no more bruises anymore? Because I’ll have some and I don’t know how I could stretch softly…
