Girth While Lengthening

So I’ve been using my extender for 3 weeks now and I’m really focused on gaining another 0.5”-1” onto my BPEL which is at 7.1” currently.

Now I know the practical and general consensus is to do your lengthening before your girth work, ie the easier to stretch a skinnier rubber band than a thicker one.

I do however want to know if I can increase girth or at least maintain my current girth. Now I will say that I suck at measuring as I’ve measured 5” EG and then all of a sudden one day measure 4.75” EG. So I’m going to buy a tailors measuring tape. But regardless I don’t want to lose girth while I’m doing my focused length work.

In addition to using the extender I’ve been jelqing and started clamping again with the thought of girth maintenance.

So is it against all odds to grow girth while I focused on my next length gains? Should I not pump or clamp due to the rubber band theory I mentioned above?

I just don’t want to get skinnier as my girth has always been my insecurity. I eventually would love even 5.5” girth but I know that will take years.
