Girth Measurement

Where do you measure girth?. At the base or in the middle of your penis?

Both, plus I also measure the shaft under the glans as well as the glans, to monitor progress. For reporting here at Thunders, and I believe for scientific measuring, mid shaft seems to be the most common measurement. :)

I like to measure girth at the widest point, wherever that may be. I check girth at various points to help determine if there has been any new expansion anywhere. This is just for tracking my own growth and progress.

On the other hand, if I’m recording an official measurement in my stats, I always make sure to measure exactly at the same spot. I have a small birthmark located at about mid-shaft, which makes a good reference point. Some people may use the circumcision scar as reference point and then place the measuring tape a certain distance below the scar. Just a suggestion.

The reason I ask is because I’m a 6.5 at the base but in the middle is 6 or 6.1 ( probably say 6 to keep it simple). So which am I ?

Your 6.5. That base girth is what your partner is going to enjoy.

Both are present. While tracking your progress, take both measurements.

I agree with Titleist,

I know the forum says measure mid shaft for correct Girth measurement.But it makes more sense to measure your thickest part for your true girth measurement whether that be your base,Glans,or Mid shaft.If your base is the thickest area then that is your penis Girth.

On the other hand, mid-shaft plays an important role in different positions during sex. Especially during early foreplay. The mid-shaft is also visually appealing to a girl.

Base girth is limited in application ime. Even though my base is thicker, i go with midshaft.
