Girth measurement

Just a quick question about girth - when measuring girth, do you measure at the fattest part of the penis e.g. Head, or at the middle of the shaft, or even at the base?

Most people go midshaft. If you are trying to grow your girth just make sure you find a place you can remember to measure every time so you will know if you are actually gaining. If your head is the fattest part- great for you a lot of people here will be jeaolous.

Most guys here go by midshaft. I really don’t know why, it seems rather arbitrary. Our units vary in shape. Mine is conical - my base is larger than midshaft, and significantly larger than the region just below my glans.

But when I post a girth measurement, I use the standard here: midshaft.

Following Kinsey’s methodology, however, would put me in roughly the top 1% of the population. :)

Well I would think that the girth should be measured by the fattest part of your penis.

The problem I have is that the thickest part of my penis is at the base, but it’s difficult to get an accurate base measure because some of the skin from my scrotum gets in the way. I’ve decided to ignore base girth for the most part, taking it as a supplemental measurement at best, and try to get my midshaft girth as high as it’ll go.

Or at least bigger than 4.75 :)

Easier to measure consistently then.
