Girth Gains Early.

Started out with an initial EG of under 4.75” (hard to tell on the ruler, but somewhere between 4.5” and 4.75”). Took a two-week measurement today and was at just barely under 5”.

Will gaining girth this early hurt me with gaining length, or will I lose this girth as length comes?

I plan to measure in two more weeks, and then move to an every 3 week measurement time frame. My starting length is around 5” NBPEL and trying to have an initial goal of 5.5” and an EG of 5”.

I don’t think that you will have any problems with attempting to gain length with your EG as it is right now. How soon were you looking to start working on length? Or, in other words, are you trying to get to your girth goal first and then work on length or is that something you were looking to do sooner than that?

In short, no and no. Once you get that girth cemented it will stay (for the most part) even though you grow significantly in length. Since you just started, I’m assuming, gaining girth will not hinder your potential length gains. Just keep on doing what your doing and let those noobie gains come.

Gottagolarger what routine were you using outta curiosity?

Thanks all for the responses. I’m almost a bit bummed that I have not seen length gains, but realize it is still early.

Right now, my routine is:

5 minute warm-up (wet warm wash cloth)
5-7 minutes manual stretches (up, down, left, right, and out, held for 30 seconds each)
O-bends (attempt to do two bend and holds in each direction on different parts of the shaft, hold for 20 seconds)
10 minutes jelq
5 minute warm-down

Working on 5 on, 2 off.

I’ve had difficulty deciding if I want my O-bends before or after jelq. I decided to do them before based on educated guessing. My thought was if they break down as well as it sounds, then the jelq (forcing blood into that area) would be more beneficial.

Toofpick: I am not concentrating on any one thing in particular. I did add the O-bends for girth after doing some reading about them. My goal is just general gains. I hope that I see some length increases in my next measurement in two weeks, but if not, no big deal. I did figure I would see a bit of length gains on that first measurement (more so than girth gains), but was pleased to see some gains.

My “goal” on routines is to add a pump by February. I figure I’ll be fairly well conditioned by then and can work on low level pressure and jelqing similar to routines posted in the pumpers forum. The good thing about the girth gains is I can start with a slightly larger cylinder (I was between sizes).

After doing some reading, I may switch my stretches up to be longer in each direction, less pressure on the stretch, but longer time.

Anything else I should consider to help solidify the girth and get length to come along?

I tend to do the O-bends after de jelqs, since after the jelq session the dick has a plumpness that goes very well for the orange bends.

If you want some length gains you might want to try newbie routine versus mine, I had great results from it and it’s only a 2 week deviation from a girth routine.

Also DLD blasters although I’m less sure about the validity of those.

I think you should do the o-bends before the jelqing. This is becuase the o-bends will really stretch the tunica out (even though it’s somewhat temporary). Then with this newly stretched out tunica, you can force blood to fill the new extra space by jelqing. I just have a feeling that jelquing is good for stressing the actual CC tissue, and o-bends mainly the tunica.

Something I feel you should deffinately include in your routine is constant heat. Do your session in the shower, and with the shower head slowly get your shaft to the highest temperature that is comfortable. Heated tunica (collagen) will stretch far further and more plastically (permanently) when at an elivated temperature. But make sure it’s constant heat, with no more than a couple of minutes without it at a time, as it will quickly cool down to normal temperature.

That’s interesting Man-o-10, so do you think you’d have better length results doing a routine in a hot bath? Were you saying that in relation to girth also?

I thought girth was the 3 big blood vessels and nothing to do with the tunica, but my P.E. Knowledge is limited.

I would put money on it Greenlights. Girth is tunica-limited as much, if not more than length (as length is partially limited by ligs).

Though I would recommend a hot shower over a hot bath, as a hot bath would expose the testes to ALOT of heat, something I feel would be unhealthy for them (the cells within them function at sub-body-temperatures never mind higher than body temperature).

I usually do part or most of my routine in the shower. I stopped jelqing in the shower due to the lube I use not working well in wet or humid conditions (and if anyone has a suggestion on something to use that won’t do this, I’m all ears).

As far as doing the newbie routine, my only deviation from it are the O-bends. It would cut very little out.

I used to have the same problem. The baby oil combined with the water left on my shaft after my shower warm-up was giving me trouble. It was too slippery.

I now dry my tool with a towel after warming up and after that I apply the same Johnsons’ baby oil for jelqing. I haven’t made any gains so this isn’t a recommendation. It’s just what I do. Good luck.

I’m not complaining about the gains.quite happy about them. Just want to make sure I’m doing things correctly to where length will come.

So will baby oil stay slick in wet conditions? The lube I was using doesn’t.and need to go pick some up to get back to my routine tomorrow.

I’ve found johnson’s baby oil works great for me. it stays quite stick compared to lotions or soap or anything else I’ve used. I actually got a huge bottle of the Equate version at Walmart for like $2.12 and it had vitamin E in it and aloa vera. has been 100% improvement over the lotion I was using.

OP, I have the same story. I started off with about the same EL and EG. My EG is now 5-3/8
