Gains stopped... Anybody has gained thanks for having taken a deconbreak?

I am not asking if somebody has gained after having taken a decon break. What I mean, is if anybody didn’t gain for over 4,5,6 or even 8 or 9 months and took a decon break and after that he got back with a similar or even lighter rotunine and gained again.

I have been stretching for almost 1h 6 days a week (plus 5-15min jelq) for over 4 months and I haven’t gained…. I just got half an inch as a newbie gain and I did jelqs Ullis/squeezes and stretches. I am getting quite discourage. I know I don’t rest much but I don’t get why it is necessary to rest for lenght gains when stretching… Bib advises agains that and also extender producers….

I know guys like TNT took 2 weeks off every 6 weeks but he was doing mainly clamping…

I would like guys like monochrome, and memento to help me on this as they are fans of manuals. Also cantlook, did you take any days off on your extender/manual routine?

This thread is to talk about breaks, decon breaks and days off , but I would like my main question in the topic to be answered.

Personally, I would try other things before I decon. When it comes to length I believe more time under tension, more tension, or a combination of both is the answer before I try to decon.

However, I suggest you be very precise about what you are doing and the changes you will be making.

I log everything I do.

Instead of completely changing your routine you might want to just add to it. But I wouldn’t go crazy and change 20 variables.

Also instead of just asking everyone to post here, why don’t you do a search. Start looking at people that had the same problem and see if you can figure out what they did.

Do you see any common things in their approach to gaining again.

What worked and for who?

The reality is the gains might still be coming but now they might take a little longer. Noobie gains can’t last forever.

Thanks BH. But being stretching 1h a day 6 days a week for 4 months is kinda like the maximum I can do. The only thing I can do to change is taking more days off and / or adding extender/ADS.

Have you added a fulcrum to your stretches?

Look at mems routine.

Mem’s Momentous Rapid Gain Mechanism

Just a little advice. Don’t change to this routine at this stage in your PE career. A couple parts of this routine are high pressure in the glans and you have a history of tears by where you pee.

Instead just focus on the fulcrum part of the routine. Maybe see how the pressure feels when you do this and see if you want to add it in.

In particular you should look at “Inverted V-Stretch - Long Hold”. There is a picture of the device he is using at the bottom of the first post.

I’ve been on a small break after I broke up with girlfriend and hurt a vein or something. The break has been going on for about a week as I haven’t had very hard erections lately except for today, so I’ll probably start up again and start with 150 jelqs and 20 squeezes. I plan on doing ULIs in around a month or less.

I’ve heard, on other forums, about guys being afraid to lose gains during a break. But honestly I was 7 1/2 BPEL by 5 1/5-1/4 girth before break and now I’m 7 1/3 by 5 1/2.

So I wasn’t really sure what the question was asking, but I would suggest a small break if you feel like what you’re doing isn’t helping you achieve growth or if you just feel worn out, whether emotionally or physically.

I guess if you look at what I did, gained 0.5” then stopped doing consistent PE for a while (sometimes more than a year), then got back into consistent PE and gained another 0.5” in length, then I guess that would count as a deconditioning break. I don’t think you need 1 year off, but 2 to 3 months off of PE isn’t a bad idea, then do back at it consistently. Maybe even a month off will do the trick, I’m not sure.

Also, I suggest you switch up your routine. I usually switch up my routine every month. Nothing major, either more time on a specific exercise or a longer (distance not time) stretch.

I don’t get it BH. Isn’t that the same thing as A stretch with your wrist?

Thanks mate. I’m thinking about trying stretches with ADS now. Then if I don’t grow take summer off and then go consistent with an extender.
So you did the newbie, gained. Then decided to to stop as you weren’t gaining then you start PE again with an extender and gained again. Is that right?

Yes. These are all variants on the v-stretch. Check the videos.

Memento, A stretch and this stretch Under The Leg Stretch used to give me great soreness and fatigue to the point that I couldn’t stretch with all my strength I even had to stopped stretching even using normal strength. Now nothing gives me any fatigue or something similar and I can stretch with all my stretch for long sessions and I don’t feel much.. Why is that?

I presume you felt them differently? Where have you felt the fatigue for each? It’s probably safe to ignore fatigue and focus on the gains or lack thereof, fatigue isn’t a decisive indicator. Remember that your routine is more than a collection of exercises it’s something that works in combination for you, so don’t ignore a new routine simply because you’ve tried the exercises before.

Generally the body adapts and if you keep doing the same thing you get decreasing returns. So when things stop working you have to think about changing things and that can take several routes, you could:

  • take 6 months off.
  • attempt to break through your resistance by doubling up or more your routines for a short period (commonly called a shock routine and more popular a while back than now)
  • change what you are doing focus on different areas - throw away your current exercises and try new ones/build a new routine
  • keep your current routine and upgrade it adding more stuff to push you further
  • a combination of these things

But you know all this, right?

I will soon get loads of devices and I will start by adding ADS (old phallosan) and try out vachanger and bibs and see how they feel. I will also try out the vacextender and check it too. Do you think doing a similar stretching routine with adding devices is great too?

Some people suggest decon breaks from method to method. What is your opinion about it? If you think is a good idea, how long would be than break for?
