My body doesn’t seem to respond well to regular 10 minute long sessions of jelqing. I usually get a good feeling of blood flow in the first 50~ jelqs but towards the end no matter how softly I jelq, I seem to lose efficiency in my workout and my penis begins to turtle up. On the other hand, whenever I do about 25 jelqs in the shower I consistently feel a healthy blood flow/hang in my penis. I am planning on doing these short workouts when I’m in the shower.

Do you guys think that 5 days of jelqing, 25 jelqs apiece while taking rests during the weekends sounds like a reasonable, effective plan? I obviously plan to keep doing manual stretches though I’m sort of on the fence on doing a warmup/warm down for every session. 25 jelqs is not a lot and is over before you know it. Do I need a full 5min before/after for warming?

Warming up helps prevent injury and warm down helps set your work out. You are the only one who can tell if it’s good for you. I don’t always have time to warm up, and on those days I keep it light and easy. I also do 5 on and 2 off. SLOW AND EASY WINS THE RACE. Good luck and happy jelqing.

Definitely warm up. If you are strechting or jelqing, I’d say it is a must.

I’ve been experimenting with something like this as well. I found the same thing happening to me. When I jelq in the shower for say 3-5 minutes, the session is awesome. I get the best expansion and my flaccid hang and post-jelq plump is the best. When I go for longer sessions, usually at about the 8-10 minute mark, I start to lose expansion and I usually have to throw some squeezes in to get the erection back-up and going.

If you think these smaller sessions are what’s best for you, then run with it. But I’d advise you to do more than one per day. Try doing like 2 or 3 smaller sessions each day. About 25-50 jelqs with at least 4 hours between them. See what happens. Lately I’ve been thinking that an approach like this could be very successful if you strap on some type of ADS in between the sessions.

I find jelqing to be a far more intense exercise than stretching. And I don’t even use that much pressure. I hardly ever get much expansion of my glans. If I do more than 20, I feel sore.

I stopped warming up before and after every session and I’m instead doing stretches when my penis feels more extensible. I find this is usually when I’m sitting down. If I stretch at other times, I simply cannot get much stretch regardless of heat applied. I don’t know if stretching during this more relaxed state is better for gains/safety but it definitely allows for much more extensibility than at other times when my penis seems more contracted.

I’ve never felt sore from jelqing. I wish I could experience this feeling.

Now, I’ve been contemplating doing a similar routine. Something early in the morning, ADS, then something before bed, probably jelqing. I used to do a stretching in the morning and jelqing in the evenings routine for a while before I went to hanging. Maybe I’ll wait to see how y’all are responding to this split routine before I jump in.
