Hi, this is my first post as you can probably see. I started the Newbie Routine 10 days ago, and I have a few of questions regarding it:

1. When stretching do you HAVE to suddenly ‘jerk’ the penis out like on the video clip.

2. I am not sure if I am jelqing correctly. When jelqing, veins in the foreskin expand and sometimes it’s a little bit painful, as the veins are being pumped with more blood. (Obviously I am uncut, also I am DRY jelqing.

3. Also when jelqing, as you are forcing blood into the penis, how do you prevent your penis from becoming more erect (I try to jelq at about 40-50%, as I’m going for length).

4 . Which ONE exercise should I be thinking of adding to the newbie routine considering I am solely going for length (girth would be a bonus).

No.

The veins will expand, but avoid pain. Dry jelqing seems to be more intense, so you might want to ease up on the pressure, or at least to a level that doesn’t cause the pain.

I think most people adjust over time, but even then you might have days where you can’t keep him down. Some say that ejaculating before a session can help, but you may find that you won’t have enough blood to work with afterwards. I personally can’t do that. My dick feels too worn out. But I say as long as you’re not fully erect while jelqing, then you’re ok.

After a couple of months of conditioning, consider V-stretches. Other stretches and exercises can be found here.

First off, welcome you’ve found a great place with lots of good information and help.

1) I don’t think you have to jerk the penis out. I never have, I kind of feared I would cause myself injury if I did it to hard. I pull very firmly though for the duration of my pull (usually 1 minute, I do 25 total)

2) I am cut and I don’t dry jelq, but the veins that I do see also expand when I wet jelq. This is a fine line I know but I think you need to distinguish pain from soreness. I often get sore while stretching but not usually jelqing. REMEMBER SAFETY FIRST. If you are not sure perhaps lighten up a bit, you can always get more intense once you are used to it, better than getting an injury and having to take time off.

3) Try and think of something non sexual. Sometimes I have to just take a rest for a few seconds and let things settle down.

4) I think you are on the right track for now. It’s only been 10 days you say. Just add time and intensity (slowly) at first. I’m not sure how long you put into PE each day.

REMEMBER this takes time, usually a long time, so don’t get discouraged.

I’m currently doing 12 stretches of 1 minute in duration, followed by 200 jelqs and then another 12 stretches.

Is that ok?

One more question, How long do people rest in between stetches. At the moment I do a one minute stretch followed by a 30 second rest etc.

On your 30sec rests, swing your dick around a bit to circulate the blood.
