So technically I’m not new to PE nor technically am I new to this site I tried PE about a year ago and lost patience but in return lost the lil gains I had and I believe that I even lost some original size (I was 7 before starting last time and when I measured to start now I was 6 3/4) but anyway after restarting and noticing fast gains (in 2 months I gained back my original length of 7in erect length and also an added 1/2inch, as far as girth I haven’t been measuring I’m playing it by eye and have seen VERY great gains) my routine started with 80dry jelqs 150 wet jelqs and around 300 kegels now I’m at still 80 dry jelqs 250 wet jelqs and combined kegel exercises that is around roughly 1000 kegels per day (I’m going to up to 300 wet jelqs starting today) after finding this site I wasn’t allowed to join cause they weren’t accepting new members but I was able to access a few threads that lead me to start the horse440 exercise mixing it with my 2 jelqing exercises (50 wet jelqs, 30 second horse440 hold, or 20 dry jelqs, 30 second hold) and also adding the v stretch and inverted v stretch spacing out my exercise in three parts for 15 minutes throughout the day, oh and almost forgot I now use an ace bandage as an all day stretcher =), anyway I have some trouble now, I’m now 2 months and 1 week into it and I see that I have lost some of my girth gains and length gains while never missing an exercise I however smoke cigars and drink and I stopped using the all day stretcher for about 2 weeks, taking these factors in consideration could this be why I have fallen short some? Has anyone else had similar fluctuating gains?

Lemme also add that my original schedule was 2 days on 1 off, moved to 5 on 2 off, and now I’m starting 3 on 1 off 2 on 1 off,

Any advice and other techniques would be greatly appreciated

Check out the physical indicators (PI) thread. Do a search for it.

Losing size is the ultimate sign of over-training. Either you are doing the horse440’s wrong or your penis wasn’t yet ready for the intense pressure. I don’t know what other members will say but they will either tell you to lay off the horse squeezes, take more rest days (1on/1off), and/or take a week off of PE.

Quality over quality applies to PE. Another note: if you’re growing just fine, don’t change anything about your routine until you notice you’ve stopped growing for at least a month. If you were growing fine with just jelqing and kegels, I wouldn’t have changed anything for a while.

There are many factors that can affect size causing shrinkage, however, if you keep at it, don’t work it to hard you should regain what you have lost.

Cigarettes are bad for PE they will definitely contribute to shrinkage, you should try to stop.

I smoke. I had no problem gaining. If you buy the postulation that vitamin-c prevents growth by causing tissue to heal too quickly, then cigarettes should be a good aid to growth.

Girth and erect length gains are very easily misjudged. It is simple to measure on a decreased erection and lose length. It is also simple to increase girth by measuring just off fully erect. If you don’t take a couple of days off before measuring, you do stand much chance of measuring a stabilised size. If you measure after a hot bath you may measure bigger. You may measure different sizes during the day. It’s, of course, also possible to overmeasure by measuring at the side or digging in under the pubic bone on top.

All this leads people to think they’ve gained when they haven’t and to think they’ve lost gains when they haven’t done that either.

If you think your measuring is not at fault then here’s the good news. Shrinkage of stabilised measurements (by a small amount) is often a precursor to growth.

Vitamin “C” is a factor in maintaining testosterone levels, depleted testosterone levels as in the case of Andropause and ED contributes to shrinkage.

Other than that I agree with the above, fluctuations are normal.

So everyone who smokes has ED? Why don’t I have ED then. I feel all left out now :(

Smoking may trounce Vitamin C but there aren’t many smokers with scurvy due to their habit.

The man might have a point, though I know oldies with bypass surgery done who still smoke and have erections. I guess it all depends, on what though I have no idea. :/

Yeah I’m sure that my measurements were accurate I try not to over exaggerate my measurements in fact I kinda even hid my tape measure after gaining the 7 1/2 then remeasuring the next day and measured 7 1/4 I do understand that a lot of things affect the erection size but mainly there’s a median of a certain size, now maybe I shouldn’t have added the horse440 but I saw a great boost in my girth after adding that might be a coincidence but I don’t know I’ve been adding that for about 2 weeks and didn’t see any droppings in size during my whole duration thus far until I went a whole weekend of drinking and smoking a lot more heavily then usual (*sigh* the social scene) now I think it’s just that my body isn’t used to all this added pressure of alcohol and tobacco because I don’t drink that often and yes I am stopping I haven’t smoked in 3 days it’s amazing how being so involved with your penis development puts all of your bad habits in perspective, so is it a general feeling of all who replied that I should lay off the horses for a while, I didn’t add them to today’s workout I think personally I wanna wait a week or two before reapplying them if people feel I should wait longer please do tell

For now my opinion is lay off horse440s for a while to have a less intense workout giving my member some time to heal and readjust.. Please feel free to reply

Yeah, the just wait a few years argument doesn’t really work. There are plenty of people here who smoke like chimneys are older than me and having raging hard ons like me. I’m not that young myself.

Sure if you smoke, you take no exercise and you eat crap - maybe.

Not that I’m saying smoking is a wonderful thing and everyone should do it. I think if people have never smoked that’s a pretty damn good thing: it’s a waste of money. It does piss me off that most of the people I meet who go around attacking the habit are ex-smokers. Any ex-smoker who attacks smoking should simply start again if smoking is so important to them that they have to keep it in their life somehow and hassling smokers fills the hole.

Sounds like you know what you are doing. If you isolate and remove aspects of your routine you’ll see how it effects progress. The only thing I would say about Horses is that done appropriately, and with care and not too many at a time, they seem to provide a good boost to weakening the tissue and allowing for growth. They are a very useful exercise but they are intense.

Thankyou I’m trying, I have read many threads here and articles on different websites, actually I believe one of ur threads here was the reason I added the horse440 I even read instructions on them several times before during and after my first trial of them just to see if I was making any mistakes now the whole part of it being great to boost the weakening tissue may be the reason why I saw such quick girth additions with them and it makes sense, when you apply em about how engorged are you? I try to be less then half enough to trap in but not to overdo it I am always open to the fact that I am making an error and when I do add them I will be extra careful not to do too many I was doing a total of 10 =/? Good or bad? I could just cut it down to less but I still want to wait

And I know this is a lil off the subject but I’ve read about a magnetic ring for growth almost like the magnet bracelets people with arthritis wear,.. Does anybody have any insight on that?
