First time post

Hello everyone in Thunder land,

This is my first post, and I have a questions about PE.

1. Are there gains greater when incorperating a good total body workout, or will this be too much to recover from?

Also I have completed my third week of the beginner routine, consisting of (50 jelqs, 30 v stretch) x 3 sets. I have noticed flacid gains, but not so much when at attention. Is this to be expected?

On my last PE session I added a kegle to every 2 or 3 jelqs and this worked really well, but a few hours later I noticed that my unit looked a little contracted. Did I over do it?

Welcome aboard.

A total body workout should not hurt you in any way. Plus any reduction in your fat pad is additional gains. Also there might be added benefits in regards to hormones if you are on the heavier side and lose weight.

Bill10 always warns people about over doing the kegeling. Your situation sounds like what he talks about. I don’t have much expertise when it comes to them. I would just back off of them and then slowly reintroduce them to your routine.

Also I would advise any new member to take great starting measurements, several times and some great starting pictures. You don’t ever need to post the pictures if you don’t want.

This is for when you start having gains and you start doubting your original measurements. Sometimes those initial gains can be very easy. But the later gains can be difficult. Motivation to stay the course might be an issue. Great starting pics can always be a reminder of what you have accomplished.

Again welcome aboard.

Full body workout is bound to be a good idea. Your penis doesn’t really care about how tired your body is but it can benefit from the endorphins a full workout generates.

Flaccid gains DEFINITELY come before erect gains. This is normal. I would ease up off the Kegels early. Do them. Just do less of them per routine. They can hurt your routine and progress and EQ if overdone.

Readytogo,

Welcome! Looks like a solid, somewhat heavy workout by beginners standards. If you’re not feeling the PI drawbacks, just keep it up. The flaccid gains are already heralding the story ;) . However if your unit looks a little contracted, you may try to do a little bit less. Try two sets for a few days, see how you react. You’re probably eager to do more and see more results, but PE is just a marathon. You’ll have plenty of time to increase your routine. I wish you good gains!

The first was not true for me, but has been noted by several other members. How would kegels hurt anyone’s routine? I’ve read it a few times now but it doesn’t make sense to me (it’s just a muscle, if it’s not sore there should be very little harm possible). More kegels for me has been better EQ, especially when I did kegels until I no longer could and then again later during the day. Dunno, doesn’t add up to my personal experience, would be nice to hear the fundamentals :-) . If you’re talking about kegels during the PE session, then I agree fully. Too much blood during jelqs can cause injury.

Kegels are commonly seen as harmless. But fatigue of the PC muscles makes it pretty difficult to hold an erection. If overdone it basically will be very difficult to get erect and if you can, it won’t be 100%.

Additionally, doing kegels until failure isn’t recommended. It would be a pretty hard drop in EQ for a day or two for most men, by my observations. Why this isn’t true for you I do not know but a tired PC muscle will not push and hold the blood in the erection to the same level. It’s the same reason kegels work to increase EQ and staying power. You do them so that the PC muscle can bring in and more solidly hold more blood and for longer without fatigue and releasing. If said muscle is tired, it performs those tasks poorly and releases sooner. The product is seen as poor erection quality until the PC muscle is no longer fatigued.

Hello, welcome to the forum!

Could have some relations, because body workout leads to a better circulation. Most of the EQ are dependent of a good blood circulation. After improvements in EQ, usually we see gains.

Full body stretch improve circulation as well.

About the recovery, I have no idea and I believe it is a good subject for discussion.

Thanks for the positive advice and encouragement guys. I really needed that. I was a little wary of doing measurements, maybe just a subconscious fear of the truth. I think it is time for some serious measurements, as advised, to track my achievements. Also, regarding the kegeling, I did notice that my erection wasn’t 100%. Anyway, I really appreciate this outlet and members for the good advice.

I have about 20 years experience in weight training. The PE will not affect the total body workout but the workout could affect the PE. This is because of fatigue. If you become fatigued, you can get stressed, overtired, have sleep issues and poor eq. Overtraining harder to do that you think, though. I’ve never severely overtrained before but have definitely skimmed the surface of it. Once you start feeling the symptoms I listed, scale back on the training and sleep, eat more and drink more water.

Size anxiety is the mere response to viewing other males as a threat and the corresponding jealousy it causes. Realize that your feelings are a response to a perceived threat and the anxiety will disappear. My log: Big Booty Extravaganza (and Log)

I think that there could be another component to the workout-plus-PE discussion. I think that someone who is diligent about a workout is possibly more likely to be disciplined in doing a careful and well-planned PE regimen. One may not necessarily contribute to the efficacy of the other, but the attitude about it may.
