First real injury

First real injury

Hey guys I’m relatively new to the site but I have been PE’ing off and on for a few years. Around August last year I started a serious regimen, 3 days on 2 off. I have been pretty consistent and have definitely seen some decent girth gains and a very small length gain. A few days ago I was doing a light downward jelq squeeze and felt some serious pain on the right side near the base, I massaged the area and I’m not sure if it is me making something of nothing but it felt, different is really the only way to say it. It also seems like it is hanging more to the left than usual. For the past few days it has been anything but a nice flaccid, I have not done a workout since it happened. My guess is a strained or pulled lig? Does that sound like the proper symptoms? The other thing that worries me is a cock ring my girlfriend and I purchased last weekend. It was way to tight and before realizing this she had forced it close to the base, evacuating ALL the blood in my CS and a good amount to the CC. It couldn’t even stand up, I removed it and didn’t really notice any lingering pain. Just wanted to give everyone a background on the issue. So what do you guys think? Could it be something serious or should I just take some time off?

Restart PE - 05/07: 7 3/8" BPEL, Mid-Shaft EG 5 3/16"

Now - 8/18/07: 7 7/8" BPEL, Mid-Shaft EG 5 9/16"

Goal: 9" BPEL, Mid-Shaft EG 6 3/4"

My advice is to take some time off. One of the other guys will be along shortly to give their opinion.

My guess is that you probably are making something out of nothing, but you never know. Any numbness or tingling? How are your erections when they aren’t being strangled by a tight cock ring? You said it feels different, does that mean painful?

Definitely take time off.

Before: I'd like to show you something I'm very proud of, but you'll have to move real close.

After: I\'d like to show you something I\'m very proud of, but you guys in the front row will have to stand back.

Sorry about not posting over the weekend. RG, no numbness or tingling, there is a slight soreness on the right side, less than the OP. My erections haven’t been what they usually are, not anything significant, it could just be from not jelqing. When I said it felt different I meant in relation to the left side, I should have been a little clearer about that. It feels like something is missing, this is where I feel I’m making something worse than it is. It is definetely not the same, structurally, as the left side, I think this could be attributed to it’s tendency towards the left though. If something did happen, say some veins or ligaments tore or were disconnected. Would they repair themselves due to cell memory? Or would I need some type of surgery?

If your erections aren’t as hard as before, you should take some time off. Usually if I overdo it, I’m back after 3-4 days though. I highly doubt you’ll need surgery or anything, just a little time. There is nothing wrong with massaging that area and applying heat, that might speed up your recovery. Has it gotten any better in the past few days?

Wow that last post took a load off, RG. It’s still a little sore, I tried a few piss pulls today to see how it felt and it seemed fine. I think I will probably rest another day or two to make sure. I’m almost positive it hangs more to the left than usual, half of my anxiety is stemming from this feeling my dick is going to be lopsided forever. Correcting the curve is one of my major reasons for PE, so to make it worse, well you see the problem.

Well I put some heat on the area and did a light massage last night, I have to say it feels much better today. I’ll probably do the same tonight and hopefully start a routine back up tomorrow. Thanks for the advice RG.

Glad to hear that you are feeling better Sicuro.

The more I read about PE, the more it sounds like athletics and athletic training.

When I was a little more athletic in my day, and we first hurt ourselves the acronym was RICE - rest, ice, compression & elevation. Rest and Ice are probably the two that I’d concentrate on in the first 24 - 36 hours. Basically, you want to ice and injury to reduce swelling and inflammation.

24 to 36 hours after the initial injury, we would change our approach from containing an injury to healing an injury. Rest, Heat, Vaso-dialators (better blood flow - aspirin), and anti-inflammatory drugs (naproxen/naprosin/aleve) helped quickly heal an injury.

Overall, you have to be the judge of when you feel up to par. In the past, when you were fully healed, unless urgent, we’d take an extra day or two just to make sure.

Sounds like you are on the right track. Taking it easy, with some light massaging and heat applied to the area as you are going to do tonight, as you are doing, should speed things along.
