First Post: What's the safest exercise to start with?

I’m on the fence as to whether or not I’m going to undergo a routine or exercises of any kind for that matter due to the serious injuries that some have had as a result.

I’m average but would really like for it to be another source of confidence. What has scared me the most are the stories of people who have lost the ability to achieve erection.

I’ve utilized the search function and have read some great opinions on the issues that newbies face but am looking for some more assurance I suppose.

It seems from my reading that many of the ED injuries are the result of jelqing. Would stretches be a safer alternative? I’m aware that all of these exercises pose a risk if

Not done properly but are some generally safer than others? I get aroused easily and it is rare that my flaccid hangs loose and floppy. I’m certainly going to be careful and warm-up but

My difficulty to achieve and maintain a relaxed state has me slightly concerned. It’s impossible for me to determine how careful the people were who had or have these injuries.

Is it the opinion of the experts that these injuries were the result of being overzealous or improper technique? I have a decent amount of time and definitely don’t mind taking it slow.

Please only comment if you consider yourself a veteran PEer. Thank-you to anyone who responds.

It’s all about listening to your body. That’s really all there is to it. If you’re aware of what’s going on in your body and know when you’ve reached your limit in any way whatsoever, you won’t injure yourself. Are you getting aroused easily? Pay attention to what you’re doing in the exercise that’s causing your arousal so you know both what’s causing it and how to avoid it if it becomes an issue during your workouts. Jelqing has actually improved my EQ, as well as for other members on this board. If ED is something that concerns you, make sure to incorporate kegel exercises into your routine. Edging and/or ballooning should also help with that.

Pre-PE: BPEL - 5.75", EG - Unknown

6/3/17: FSL - 6.6" 6/12/17: BPEL - 6.4" EG - 5.2" BPFL - 4.9"

Goal: 7" x 5.5"

Jelqing and pumping are the safest to start with. The advantage of pumping is you know exactly what pressure you’re using while you don’t have a number for the jelqing, it’s all about how it feels.

For the jelqing, You should start using light pressure at low erection level then lightly increase them over time and always listening to your body.

They both should have a positive impact on your EQ.

A gym exercise newbie guy goes into a gym and sees a guy who already has the sort of body he wants, and that guy’s benching and squatting heavy. Our newbie gym guy thinks that to get a body like his new hero, he must do the same. So he loads up the bar on the squat rack with 300lb, gets under the bar, straightens his legs and tries to squat…

I’m sure you get the analogy. We live in a ‘more is better’ culture. Many guys starting PE are pulling far too hard on stretches, squeezing the cr*p out of their dicks when jelqing or just doing far too much volume. The gym or PE are both safe if done properly but there will always be a very tiny fraction of a percent of people with a weakness they didn’t know about who will get injured through no fault of their own, and a much larger percentage of people who will be injured through over-zealousness and improper technique.

firegoat is fully RETIRED from Thundersplace.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

For me it seems like the safest possible way to jelq is to do jelqing with the pincer grip because i am able to jelq with a lot more flaccid of a penis when I use the pincer grip. It is difficult for me to jelq with an ok grip unless I am about 30% erect but with a pincer grip I can jelq with about a 10% erection. Hope this helps.

Injury mostly occurs when we overdo it. Simply do no overdo it.

Jelqs are completely safe as long as you start slow and low (grip pressure).

Start: BPEL: 5.25" EG: ~4.5"

Current: BPEL: ~ 6.75" MSEG: ~4.75" BG: 4.825" BPFSL: 7"

Initial Goal: NBPEL: 7" EG: 5" Long Term Goal: 7.5" x 5.25-5.50"

First off, even as I type this some where in the word a guy just blew a gasket in his brain or heart doing a push up. The flip side of that is: statistically you are healthier doing the push up than not. Putting your money into savings and investments is much more fiscally intelligent than buying lottery tickets. But people do win the lottery. Except in this case the lottery os you penis on PE and “winning” is breaking it.

For the vast majority of guys jelqing is the anti-ED. One of the first thing n00bs notice is improved function and EQ (erection quality). The safest thing to start with is the alt newbie routine which doesn’t even introduce stretching untll some time in.
