I’ve been wearing the sizegenetics for 6 months now and have slowly been increasing the tension. It’s been working pretty well, I’ve seen some gains in length and my erections are harder then ever. I really wanted to get some girth gains and I had read some not great things about the pumps and fluid retention. I decided to give the beginner routine as described on the main page a try. I read through it many times and watched the videos. I warmed up and cooled down for the recommended time and didn’t think I used very hard pressure. I did seem bigger afterwards. A few hours later I tried to get myself aroused using porn and.. Nothing. I would get close to half mast and that would be all. My dick just seemed heavy, like it couldn’t lift all the way up. I tried for a while until I started to get all the way hard but experienced pain in that sensitive area right below the head. I stopped after that. There has been no swelling, bruising, discoloration, swelling. Nothing physically different. I would like to be able to use this routine, or any routine to get those girth gains. What am I doing wrong? Too much pressure? Jelqing too close to the glans?

Sounds like too much pressure. Take a week off and resume with less intensity.

Do you think that maybe after your workout that your penis was tired and really didn’t want to get erect? Sometimes they like to rest for a bit. Then you tried to force an erection and I would bet you got a bit sore in the forcing and not the workout? What do you think?

Did you do the main newbie routine or the linear newbie. The linear newbie is better for newbies. I think you might have put too much pressure on it and did to many jelqs. Start with only 40 or so, and steadily work yourself up. But first take a break and let your unit recover. Penises get tired too. You don’t question why you struggle to pick up a cup of coffee after a heavy gym routine do you?

I appreciate all of the advice. I was a little afraid to do the routine again but I have been for the past 3 weeks just veeeery slowly. I started with just 5 jelqs and no manual stretches. I’m now up to 3 minutes of jelqs with the recommended manual stretches. I’ve been increasing jelq time by 1 minute now each time, until I get to the recommended time of 10. My penis has not had anymore problems getting hard. Just a few weeks of the newbie routine and my dick looks better than 6 months of sizegenetics. It’s all nice and plump with visible veins. My partner is absolutely loving it. She came in to the shower during the cool down and couldn’t stop staring and left with a “it’s just so hot.”. It makes me feel great, soaring confidence.
