So I’ve finished the newbie routine and whilst I’ve not experienced any big ‘newbie growth’ I think this is probably down to starting out with pretty loose tendons anyway. Either way I feel my EQ’s gone up. Now I’m looking at adding either a small amount of clamping and pumping or hanging as well as keeping up with the manual PE.

So I’ve a few questions for the more experienced in these matters.

Do pumping and clamping go together well? Also has anyone tried viagra in conjunction before pumping?

When clamping what do people mean by sets? I’ve looked at the starting out thread but can’t seem to work it out, I think I’m just being an idiot.

Some people alternate the pump and the clamp. I would recommend starting with one first.

By sets, they means times you clamp. For example, say you start with 5 minutes clamped followed by 5 minutes light jelqing, then 5 minutes clamping followed by another 5 of jelqing. That would be 2 sets. I’m not advocating this routine. It’s just an example. Read the clamping 101 article for a good starting point.

For what it’s worth, I prefer pumping as it’s much more gentle and quantifiable.

Another option is to just increase your time and intensity with manual exercises.


Start: (Aug 2001): 6 1/2 bpel x 4 7/8 mseg

Current: (6/24/14): 7 3/4 bpel (7 nbp) x 5 5/8 mseg. BEG 6 1/4. BPFSL 8 1/8.

Goals: First: 7 1/2 bpel x 5 1/2 mseg ACHIEVED! Current Goal: 7 nbp x 5 3/4 mseg (almost there!)

You can view the newbie routine without being a member.

But where are you coming from? No history! What were your goals and aspirations? Do you have any pics or measurements of where you began? These are all basic questions of newbies that you have skipped. I wouldn’t give advice to a newbie that I might to a senior PE’er. Give yourself some help man. You want answers?

Fair enough metamorpho, my apologies.
So history, Apart from the beginner routine which I have done for the past 8 weeks and some jelqing before that I’ve no prior history.

My aims are basically to straighten a small curve, gain some base girth and then move onto some form of girth work once I have cemented any gains I have got.

As for measurements as I’ve had two days rest I’ll do some now and that can be a base line.

Anything else that it would be helpful to give you?

NBPFL 3.5
Bpfl 4.5
BPEL 6.5
NBPEL 6
Flaccid girth 3.5
Errect girth 4.5

Lets just say I enjoyed getting those measurements.

Measurements aren’t so difficult as trying to take a picture of your own dick erect. Sometimes I just give up and say screw it!

Take a look in the member forum for HoustonWoods thread. He is a dedicated PE’er and does clamping almost daily. He is thick from gains and is very helpful.
