Been lurking these forums for 10 months, on and off. Yeah, 10 months of making myself start PE!

So, I’ve finally decided, I’m beginning my newbie routine tonight! You big guys better beware, because you’re getting a new member to your club soon!

Gonna ask a question before I start: when I measure myself, my BPEL is much larger than NBPEL. Can’t really remember (gonna repeat tonight), but it was something like 7” BPEL and 5.8” NBPEL. I’m pretty skinny (practically zero fat), so is it that I press my ruler too hard? Because I did read you should press your ruler pretty hard to make sure you get all of it, so that it’s easy to measure gains. And one more thing - is having a shower enough for warming up? Rice socks and warm cloths ain’t exactly practical for me..

Anyway, reading these forums has been giving me great support in life, and I’ve finally gathered some balls to start my training.

The main purpose of tracking BPEL (aside from male ego, after all, it is always the larger number) is for measuring gains. So the most important thing is to measure it consistently the same way every time. Pressing it as far as it will go without hurting yourself is a good way to do that. Of course, your real, usable penis length is somewhere between NBP and BP.

A shower isn’t the best way to warm up, but if you let the hot (as you can stand) water run over your penis, it should be sufficient. You could take a cup, fill it with hot water, dip your penis in it and hold it there while you’re rinsing, that might be more effective for you.

I never thought that it takes THAT much to warm the member up, but I guess you can never be too careful. Gonna be having a very hot shower in a few, and after that, I’m exercising.

Just finished my first session, and I may say it’s been really.. Disappointing.

Warmed up pretty well, my veins were engorged from pure heat, so that went well.

Then, I started the stretching phase. My glans are extremely sensitive, so it wasn’t too comfortable, but I guess it went ok. My dick was as flaccid as it gets. How much strain am I supposed to feel while stretching, and where should I feel it? Like, at the base, deeper, or along the shaft?

So, to the jelqing. My dick was so soft, and couldn’t get hard. I have to mention that I was really anxious with the whole thing (very nervous), so I switched to some porn, and it did get somewhat hard, but got as soft as velvet as soon as I started the jelq again. By the way, I was doing (or trying to do) wet jelq with OK grip. I stopped then and there, going to try again tomorrow.

The only thing that didn’t disappoint were the Kegels. I did like 10x 5sec ones, and I was like “oh this is too easy”, but by the 20th I was really strained, so it definitely works.

You will find that there is a bit of a learning curve with PE. Don’t get discouraged and relax! As long as you’re careful there’s nothing to be nervous about. Enjoy the learning process. PE should be fun and invigorating. You’ll get the hang of it.
