Hey so I started on 2/10 and now it’s 4/14, so two months. I have made no gains whatsoever. I’m worried I’m a hard gainer. I have taken 2 days in a row off three times, and 4 days in a row off once. So maybe that has had a big effect on my gains. I was hoping my 5” BPEL and 4 5/16” EG would be a quick gainer since I’m so small to start ;) . Currently I’m on the newbie routine. I’m curious if my jelquing/manual stretching techniques are being done inefficiently.

For jelquing I sit on the toilet with ~70% erection. I use a standard OK grip that’s completely horizontal (meaning my fingers are parallel with the ground). I don’t curve my fingers too much aka tighten up making a circular shape because it can start to cause a dull pain in the bottom right or bottom left of my shaft. It feels like there are balls of blood at the base of my dick on the right and left sides. The dull pain doesn’t really show up anymore, maybe due to strengthening but also could be the fact that I don’t put too much pressure on those areas anymore. Any insight on this? My initial theory for improvements is: jelq at 50% erection. Try overhand OK grip. Try pulling to the sides on jelq strokes (was reading about that). Test a more circular, tight grip and see if pain comes back. Please advise.

For manual stretching I feel I pull at a decent level of intensity. I would say it’s strong with no discomfort. I’m not sure if I should be pulling to slight discomfort. It’s pretty hard to describe how hard I’m pulling, or how hard you guys pull. But I would estimate it’s like a 7/10, 10 being super hard, causing quite a lot of discomfort, but not as hard as I can. That would literally rip my dick off. My theory for improvements: potentially try to pull a little bit harder, but maybe no improvements needed for this exercise.

I’m really trying to have an average dick and I’m here to commit. The extended day off periods only came from being out of town. I still need to work on finding time while traveling (at least a quick maintenance routine) so I can stay consistent. Any advice on how I can start making real gains would be much appreciated.

The newbie routine. I do wet jelqs with normal OK grip and usually way too erect. Tonight I did overhand OK grip at ~50% erection. I really liked this better. Felt I got a tighter grip all around my penis and I feel good after. I think this will help a lot. Wieners crossed!

You might try adding heat while you do your routine.

Other than that if you’re doing the newbie training stick to that as instructed then see where you’re at and we can go from there?

I was thinking about maybe extending my newbie routine. I have been doing it for two months with no results. I definitely think my jelquing could be improved and tonight I had an amazing session with a new grip so I’m hoping that will change things. But I was thinking about maybe extending my jelqs from 10 to 15 minutes, and manual stretches from 5 to 7.5 minutes. It would still pretty much be the newbie routine but a little more intense. And now that I’m two months in, my penis is stronger and hopefully I can handle it. I’m just spitballing here. What do you guys think?

If your dick can handle it, go for it.

I started off doing almost exactly what I’m doing a year later which is 32 mins of stretching, 20 mins of jelqing and 8 minutes of edging.

Currently, I do that 1 day, pump for 30 mins the next, stretch and jelq again the next, followed by a rest day. Rinse and repeat.

Added the pumping about 5 months ago. Before that I was doing that hour of stretch, jelq and edge 3 on and 1 off.

Other than some sore skin when I started which I believe was due to using vasoline and a space heater. I’ve been fine.

Highly recommend coconut oil and an IR heat lamp.

PE doesn’t appear to be an exact science, so you’ll need to try things and see how your dick reacts.
