Few days off, that bad

Few days off, that bad

Well I had a busy end to last week and so skipped a few days, I think like 4 :s
Just wondering in general if skipping a few days of the newbie routine is really so bad?
The way I see it theres pro’s and cons:
PRO
More rest days, I felt quite fatigued through the four days for some reason
More time for the penis to heal itself?

CONS
Uncemented gains will be lost (although how long does this whole uncemented gains thing kick in?)
Lower EQ?

Anyway any answer will be much obliged, thanks!

I started my newbie routine around Christmas holidays. It was totally haphazard when I would work out or take days off. I grew anyway.

Good to be consistent as you can be though.

I think I did something like 2 on/1 off. Then now and again I would take 5 off.

Every time I grew, it would happen after 5 days off.

It is bad!!

If you skip a 1 day out of 5 days PE a week, once or twice a month then it might be ok.

Remember to be consistent with your routine. That’s my first rule of my gains.

The problem here is the danger of the bodies natural healing process.
The body heals in several phases. When we stretch and produce trauma on our penis the natural tendency of the body is to do several things. One is to heal the damaged area and two return it to normal. How fast the process occurs is individualistic depending on your particular bodies healing cycle. Some are very fast, others are slow. Nevertheless it needs to be paid attention to.

If you can exercise within the framework of you bodies healing processes then your gains will be perpetual. With any duration of time between exercise sessions it gives the body the opportunity to strengthen and return to normal the damaged area. When that occurs then you will have to break up that healed area with an increase in stress to overcome the now greater mass produced.

There are things you can do to prevent the bodies healing process from destroying your progress. One is to maintain your schedule so the body never catches up with the progress. The other is to use tools to keep the area in a perpetual state of stretch so healing never takes place without disruption. One good tool is some form of ADS (all day system or session)

There are many on the market.

It all depends on how often you take a break from your scheduled routine. If you are taking every other day that you are supposed to be PEing off it is bad. If you are taking an extra day or two off 1-2 times a month it may well be a good thing. That prevents your body from learning a carved in stone schedule.

What worked for me back when I was going crazy with hanging was to plan on 2 hours hanging every damn day. I knew for a fact that at least once time per week, sometimes two, some crap would come up and I wouldn’t get to hang. But if I had already taken my planned on 2 days off and then something came up? Just like that I would have had 3-4 days in a week without hanging. And that much time off doesn’t work for hanging.


Running a Massive Co-Front.

I planned on applying something to disrupt healing within a 12 hour period. I tried to keep something going, either an ADS or another hang session within that time frame. That worked for me. I usually maintained an ADS throughout my day and then if I missed a hang session it didn’t matter. Disruption was almost continual. I just wish I could have utilized my Rings overnight but that is way to dangerous. I took a nap one day and woke up all swelled up and had a good time trying to get the rings off.

Do you want to cross the 9.0” BPEL mark at this point, or have you given up caring? If you where to do so, what would be the path?

All of us longer PE’ers realize the gains slow to a crawl and perhaps almost NO MORE. I’d be happy even with head length gains at this point, though I truly have not done REALLY long term duration hang/stretch work like nearly most of the day yet.
