After reading numerous threads, I decided to give it a try. I must admit that I was skeptical and a little nervous because I though it would hurt. I warmed up for 10 minutes, then I hung for 20 minutes using a 20 once water bottle as weight, and warmed up for 10 minutes when I finished. Today I do not feel sore and will try it some more. Now the newbie question; When should I start seen results. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Rough day you guys are having, I used bib hangers if you must know.

Cool! Just making sure. Didn’t want you to hurt yourself. Some guys try the whole shoelace thing and wind up hitting the nerves on the back of the head and get numbness and then give up hanging. Once you put real weight on, you should feel an Indian burn from the skin stretching out. It is tolerable. Simple real weight is like a pound or three. Some people start with 5, but I rather be safe and ride past the learning curve safely.

20 fluid ounces of water weighs about 1.3 lbs. Starting light is good, but you may want to bump that up to 3 lbs. or so. Add sets until you’re doing 3,4 or however many you plan on doing daily. Then slowly increase the weight (if necessary) until you reach a point where you feel you’re getting a good workout.

Hard to say when you’ll first notice results. Adopt a regular schedule and put in the time. Be patient. :)
