I’m doing the newbie routine for 1 week now and I’m beginning to feel a LITTLE discomfort in my unit.
It`s not pain, I’m sure about that.

Is that common (result of the new “workout routine”) or should I slow down a little?

A little discomfort is acceptable, if you are talking about soreness after a workout. Your best monitor of the intensity of your PE exercises are your erections. If they are hard and good, then you are not overdoing it. If you are having weaker erections, tone it down a bit.
