Fat pad and too little skin

Fat pad and too little skin

Hello everyone, I’ve recently encountered something that has had me scratching my head trying to come up with an explanation. Having been focusing on length for some time now, I’ve noticed that I have ~1” difference between my bone-pressed measurements and my non bone-pressed measurements. Not a big deal, everyone has a fat pad right? Problem is my body fat percentage is around 8%, which should not result in a 1” fat pad. Now I can’t figure out why I have such a large difference in measurements due to my “fat pad” yet I have very little fat to pad with. Which brings me to the second part of the title, too little skin.

Because I am circumcised I believe that I may not have enough skin to cover the entire length of my shaft, either thanks to gains or to an overzealous surgeon. This seems to be the only explanation I can come up with that explains the large difference in measurements. Because my penis might not have enough skin to completely cover itself in the erect state, I believe that it is borrowing a bit from the scrotum and from the mons pubis. The latter borrowing is what I believe is causing the issue of a large fat pad. Because the skin from the mons pubis is being pulled forward to cover the shaft, it would cause the appearance of a pad of skin. Interestingly though, the skin on the shaft is not very taut so as to definitively indicate a lack of skin, though this may be due to the fact that skin’s elasticity would cause the stretching force (the erection) to be distributed throughout the skin in the area, much the same as a spring is not only stretched in one section but rather stretched evenly across the entire length. Additional evidence towards the diagnosis of a lack of skin is the fact that when stretching my penis while my scrotum remains in a relaxed state, a turkey neck begins to form and the scrotum gets pulled forward. Not only does this occur, but when erect, which generally causes the scrotum to tighten in conjunction, my scrotum is pulled forward rather noticeably, giving the appearance of a much shorter penis from a view of the underside of the penis.

What it is that I am asking you guys is:
1). Does this seem like a reasonable explanation to the measurement difference?
2). Does anyone know of another explanation for said difference?
3). If the lack of skin seems to be the problem, how successful and in what ways have you guys gained skin along the shaft? I have tried a bit of foreskin restoration in the past, however I have not seen many results outside of increased extra skin in the flaccid state.

Thanks to anyone who can give input!

I have a large difference not explainable with fat, too. I thought I could have too much skin, so the adverse of your hypothesis. :)

I am uncircumcised.

A question about your attempts to do some restoration of the foreskin. How much time did you spent in your attempt?

That process is a long term one just like gaining length or girth. In the early 1990s I proceeded with processes which resulted in restoration to the point which I am mistaken for being uncut. As a matter of fact when flaccid I have 100% foreskin coverage of the glans. This coverage even results in puckering of the foreskin as seen in penises of some men who have never experienced being cut.

This process took me just over two years to initially accomplish. Over the years since I have done some additional stretching of the foreskin which resulted in the coverage that I currently have.

If you are interested in these processes there is a book available on the internet which describes the processes which I used.

Marinera: Having too much skin makes sense for increasing the difference between BPEL and NBPEL, but I think that in most cases men neither have too much or too little. But the extremes are what cause the unexplainable difference between measurements when fat is not the reason. Although wouldn’t having too much skin just prevent the ruler from reaching all the way to the pubic bone? After a certain amount of compression, the skin will no longer compress without discomfort.

Restored91: I tried these methods for around 6 months and like I said I barely gained anything. I did not have a structured routine but rather stretched whenever I had the opportunity. I used the basic method of making two ok signs with my hands and placed then slightly apart on my penis, below the scar of course, and pulled apart to create skin tension. I did this for a few minutes every time I went to the bathroom and for ~20 minutes before bed and a bit after a shower.

My reasons for not continuing are mainly that I lost motivation after it seemed that I had made little progress and started to forget to do it. I was certainly nowhere near 1/4 of the way restored after 6 months. Additionally my main goal behind restoration was to simply increase shaft skin and eventually get to a restored state.

Juiice:

I used several different methods described in a book titled “The Joy of Uncircumcising. ” I did this in the early 1990s. At that time the book was out of print, but I was able to borrow a copy from the local library. The book is now available on line. I recently purchased a copy.

I was cut quite tight so I had to begin by using tape only. At that time I was not aware that there were devices to be purchased to assist in the restoration process.

When I began with the tape system I used it 24/7 except during love making. I had the total support of my wife, now deceased.

I was able to gain enough foreskin to get full coverage when flaccid. I have photos posted in my routine thread at about post #46.

Do not hesitate to PM me if you have questions.

Thanks restored! My only issue is that I’m not looking to set up any contraption to do this process. Taping is as much as I would like to do in order to restore, I don’t want to purchase any devices either. I’d much rather stick to manual or something I can easily setup with items on hand. I might try the taping method at first to get a bit of coverage and mix it up with the current manual method I’ve been using. The first method detailed on this page is what I have been doing in order to restore: http://www.restoringforeskin.org/pu…ugging/method-2. If I can think of any questions I’ll be sure to ask you.
