Fat pad and skin stretch question

Hi folks, having just measured today after posting a different question earlier, I found the following:

BPEL = 6.5
NBPEL = 5.25 or so.

This indicates that since starting PE about 2.5 months ago I’ve gained absolutely nothing in NBPEL but it appears that I have made gains of at least 0.25 inch (perhaps even 0.5) BPEL. From these measurements it would appear that my fat pad is very deep! Yet I’m quite a slim guy, 5’11” tall and about 10 stone. I don’t have a lot of body fat. From reading around it seems that the average fat pad is about 0.5” - 0.75” so why would mine be about 1.25”? What could I do about this? It’s becoming apparent to me that I should actually have about 6” of useful / visible dick, but it looks much smaller because it’s quite buried. Losing weight is not really an option as I don’t have much to lose.

One clue I got is from watching in the mirror, side view, as I get erect. When flaccid, the skin of my pubic area goes straight down vertically to the top of my dick; even tucks in a little at the base. When I am fully erect however, the skin is pulled out along my dick noticeably. I estimate that it’s drawn out about 0.5-0.75 inches. So perhaps the issue is not my fat pad, but that I don’t have enough skin?!

Is this normal and does anyone else have similar observations? Is there anything that can be done about it? The skin doesn’t feel uncomfortably tight when I’m erect, it’s just that the base is hidden. I’m circumcised by the way.

As far as “useful dick” goes, remember that fat compresses. So if you are going balls deep and grinding you are using much of your BPEL.

As to why your NPBEL fluctuates, it has to do with your diet. For example, Did you eat something salty? You will retain water and your fat pad will be thicker.

I do eat quite salty food, so that could well be a factor. My diet is not the best.

However, I can see that my fat pad is much thinner when I’m flaccid than when I’m erect. I estimate it to be 0.5 - 0.75 when flaccid, and well over an inch when erect. So it seems that it’s definitely getting pulled outwards. This must be due to not enough skin, right? Also my scrotum rides even further along my dick than the skin at the top. A lot further.

You’re right that when you push deep into a chick you’re probably using more than your visible length, certainly in some positions. That’s possibly why I’ve never really had complaints from girls in practice, I just suffer embarrassment about the appearance of my dick.

I think this relates to a medical problem I had when I was a kid - I was circumcised because my foreskin didn’t retract easily, and it was painful to pull it back. I used to dread bathtimes because of the pain. Well the first doctor did a really bad job of it when I was about 3; he cut it only partially off, and it healed with a ring of tight scar tissue which only made the situation much worse. Then when I was 12 I went back into hospital because it didn’t seem to be growing properly; the second surgeon thought he would have to graft some skin around the base; but he started by doing a more competent circumcision and was satisfied that enough of my dick was now hanging out. Perhaps he was satisfied but I wasn’t! I suppose he saved me some extra pain from the graft, and saved the national health service a few bob. Strange how this has all come back to me since I started thinking about it!

Well it all healed up fine and looks normal but a bit short. So my guess is that actually my dick is not as small as I thought, but it needs more skin because it was prevented from growing properly many years ago. Any special skin stretching exercises?

It is possible that the skin is not long enough for the penis and its “tenting” outward at the fatpad base.

That’s an excellent description, tenting outward. I really believe that’s what is happening; I just don’t know to what degree it’s normal, and what can be done about it. It’s becoming apparent to me that I’d have at least an extra half inch, probably more, if it wasn’t happening.

You don’t have to be fat to have a thick fat-pad. Trust me.

Work thighs. Treadmill squats. Unfortunately the pubic fat-pad is the very last fat to leave your body.

Also, the excessive shaft and scrotal skin we get from doing PE will help keep your dick from a full retraction into the fat-pad..

Agreed with big girtha. You sound a lot like me. I’m ‘skinny fat.’ I don’t weigh much for my height but don’t eat well or exercise quite enough. so while overall I’m slim I’ve got a significant fat pad. On the plus side, it’s nothing a better diet wouldn’t fix. I guess you’ve just got to decide if an extra inch is worth the trouble.

Goal: Flaccid 6x5 NBPEL 8 BPEL 8.5 EG 6

Thanks for the advice. I don’t work out nearly as much as I should, I could probably get rid of a bit of extra body fat if I put my mind to it. My diet is lousy cos I’m always rushing around, not taking time to eat healthy stuff. It would do me a lot of good overall to fix that.

Even if I can get the fat pad down, I’m thinking it’s partly a skin problem because of the way it changes from flaccid to erect. So having read a few more posts about this I will try dry jelqing on the basis that it’s the most likely to cause skin stretch - which is what a lot of people are trying to avoid it seems; most advice is aimed at minimising skin stretch, but I’m going to shoot for that (within reason!) to see if it leads to more of my erect length being expressed.

Anyone had any similar observations or good tips for stretching skin?

I actually like the skin stretch, and think it is important to PE. The extra skin is the first gains, and you body’s way of making room for more internal structure gains later. The extra shaft skin even makes your flaccid look thicker and discourages turtling. This is why uncut guys look girthier than cut guys.

Any gain, including skin, is a good thing.
