fat pad always increases with age?, or does it increase if you are eating all the time and you do not exercise and don’t have a healthy lifestyle?. Do someone hear has the same amount of fat pad as when they were in their 20s?

Over whole populations, there is a tendency to add bodyfat with age. Also, there are some typical sex-linked patterns for bodyfat distribution. For people who fit these patterns, I suspect that fat pad growth would be predictable with age. That said, there are old geezers who maintain (or even reduce) bodyfat, so there is nothing inevitable about the process.

My weight and bodyfat fluctuate from time to time, based on short term gym goals. While I don’t have measurements to prove it, I’d guess my fat pad isn’t appreciably bigger than it was 25 or 30 years ago.

Interesting…how long ago? I’ve heard that lipo can cause weird looking fat distribution; i.e. you still gain weight in all of the areas AROUND the lipo’d part. Any thoughts on that?

It sucks to have BP length around 17 cm/6.7 and npb around only 14 cm/5.5.
