I’m a newbie to this site and been doing the PE exercises for less than two weeks. I go through with my routine with no problem. But just the last couple of days when I warm down for about 10 minutes and after I just give my head,shaft and balls a good massage with some aloe vera gel. I get this strong hard on that just doesn’t want to go away until I masturbate. I know I’ve read in other threads that this is a no no but what can I do to relieve this monster. Also I’ve noticed since I have started PE that I get these really strong hard ons.

Is this normal that the arousal is so large. Is there a reason why in other threads they tell us not to masturbate? It just felt I had to release it.

Is there a reason, well, I think it is kinda a superstition. Plenty of guys masturbated and had gains - me, for example. I haven’t seen any of those who support the ‘don’t masturbate’ argument having better gains.

Having an high sex drive is better than ‘normal’, I think. :)

Try a brief cool down with ice water. It will make your erection subside quickly and it helps with gains (in my experience).

It’s all conjecture. Gains can’t be accelerated or decelerated by masturbation or icing or heat-wrapping your dick post workout. Ice stymies the injury response and would inhibit proper healing. Heat just aggravates it and does nothing to help with healing. Masturbation is like a mini jelq session and only adds to the “workout”. The only time you should ever ice anything is if edema or severe trauma is imminent due to swelling. You should never put a hot wrap on a recent injury, the heat is only useful for the delayed onset soreness and minor pain. Stay away from NSAID’s or blood thinners, they do more harm than good. I think I’ve taken Tylenol once in the past year and that was for a migraine, and my physical fitness and general health seems to have skyrocketed now that my body is able to care for itself the proper way. Just be a fucking big girl and suck up the pain.

So all the people in other threads saying that you need to “freeze” the penis in an expanded state are wrong? Ice doesn’t help at all? Would slowing down the healing and keeping the tissues in an expanded state for longer help at all or no?

I’m an engineer not a doctor (or physical therapist) so pardon my ignorance of these matters.

Maybe it’s my routine that’s bomb and not the ice.
