Erection Level Fades After A Few Strokes

I’ve been PEing on and off a couple of month and now I’m getting serious about it. I’ve mainly been stretching recently but now that I’ve started to jelq. I get to about 50-60% and get 5 or 6 strokes in and he starts to go down. I’m not squeezing to hard , at least I don’t think so. I was wondering how hard should I squeeze and if this is normal and I just need to keep the blood in it and keep stroking or what. Advice is appreciated.

My erection level never gets above 60% when I jelq. It just isn’t stimulated like that.

Although it’s not generally recommended I think having some porn nearby can help you maintain your desired erection level during a set.

It can take a while to keep at the right erection level whilst jelqing. Perseverance is your friend. It took me ages to maintain an erection throughout my jelqing session. In the meantime porn, and throwing a kegel in to pump your penis back up might do the trick.

How hard should I be squeezing?

Do a few slow jelqs. Do you feel your penis becoming slowly engorged on each stroke? The minimum pressure to get that feeling in your penis is your target.

The simple answer is hard enough to move blood up the shaft. But that has little practical use. Firegoat usually gives this tip, which I find quite useful:

“Imagine dipping a smooth stick in runny honey. Imagine using your jelqing finger and thumb to squeegee the honey off the stick. Transfer feeling to penis. Keep trying to imagine that as you jelq.”
