Hi all - kicked off the newbie routine around 10th of Sept this month.

I’ll jump to the question: is it a problem if in some jelqing sessions my erection isn’t always above 40%? I have phases of arousal and switching-off/stress that both last a few weeks respectively.
This means that during the switch-off periods, I find it pretty difficult to keep an erection going - let alone even make one happen. (30 minutes/200 strokes can go on for just over an hour because of this) Porn and edging typically won’t help. It can be 0%-45% during one phase and 50%-90% in another, basically. I use dry jeqls and typically warm up in the bath/shower and hot wrap after if I can finish in time.

Does this botch up any hope for proper girth gains? I’ve read that erection levels supposedly effect length and girth depending on what percent you’re on - though I’m focusing on latter.
Ah! And being uncircumcised, is it better to jelq with the head showing or covered?


Gain is gain. Focus on length/stretches when you are unable to get above 40% erect. No expansion = no girth gains.

If you are using dry jelqs, your head will be uncovered at start of jelq and covered at the end when your hand is nearer your head. I can’t see any other way you could do it; you are using skin in place of lube. :shrug:

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.
