Erect kegels vs. flaccid kegels

Does anyone know if one is better than the other?


Current = 7 BPEL and 5 EG

Goal = 8X6 :)

I have no idea whether one is ‘better’, per se, but I have always had difficulty performing erect kegels for long periods. It seems that whenever I start kegels when erect, I lose my erection pretty quickly. So, personally, I’ve stuck to flaccid kegels - but I really don’t think that there’s a better or worse way to do them. I’ll use that age-old cop-out line here: ‘Do whatever works best for you.’

I don’t think it matters. I do them both ways. It helps to keep up longer I think, when you do them hard.

I can’t answer your question, but wanted to add that holding the kegel as long as possible is better than short duration kegels.

This post made me think of a question along these lines that’s been on my mind for awhile. I do a series of stretches while I’m in the spa at the gym after my workouts. I figure what better way to do a warm up than having my cock submerged in hot water plus I’ve already got a healthy pump going for me post lifting. While doing these stretches I also do kegels along with them hoping that the pull back will further stretch my ligs. Am I just fooling myself, is this advisable, or just not recommended? Thanks, Oli

To understand why doing Kegels while stretching won’t affect the ligs you have to know the anatomy. Have you seen this thread? In it you’ll see that the muscle doing the pull back surrounds the base of the penis behind where the ligs attach to the shaft. It’s also on a part that is continuous with the corpus spongiosum, which is the ridge on the underside of your penis. the ligs attach to the fascia in an area that is mostly on the corpora cavernosa (the two erection chambers that make up most of the shaft).
