Environmental Temperatures VS Growth

I tried to search for relevant topics, but I didn’t find any.and it very well may be because it is 2am.

I was wondering if anyone here has ever seen anything or done a study on the correlation between persons growth and the climate they live in. I ask because ever since I started serious PE, it’s been between -30 and 5 degrees outside. Even though I have impressive after-jelq hangs, I go outside and the cold takes it’s natural toll on my unit. I would assume that warmer climates would allow for more consistent blood flow to the area than colder climates would. Any knowledge that you have to offer would soothe my curious mind, and possibly rid me of the fear that as long as I stay in this geographic region, Ill be doomed to a life of relatively unsuccessful PE.

I live in a cooler climate and I have had success with PE.

In fact, one of the results of PE for me has been improved flaccid hang even in the cold winter months.


For Lampwick, becoming hung like a donkey was the result of a total commitment.

I don’t think it would matter much. There are lots of guys here from colder places like Sweden and Canada who have done fine.

I wonder about this as well. It was winter while I was at my kung fu school in China and no matter how flexible I became, it would be drastically reduced every morning and gradually improve throughout the day. I spoke to some guys who had trained in Thailand who said that the heat allowed them to remain very limber no matter what compared to the cold Northern Chinese winter.

I’m wondering if experienced gainers have had reduced gains in the winter versus the summer. Or if guys tend to be faster gainers in warmer climates.

Canada isn’t always that cold. Around here during the summer it will often go up to 30°C (86°F) or above, and that’s not factoring in the humidity.

During the hotter months you’ll no doubt experience a better flaccid hang, and it’s been my experience that I’m a little more receptive to PE in the heat (don’t need a rice sock or heat lamp). In the winter I’m stiffer in the morning (ligament-wise that is) and it takes longer to warm up and stretch for morning runs. By the evening everything is nice and loose, and that also seems to apply to PE.

Flaccid length and ancestry

I’ve been PEing out in the tropics for the past few weeks and I have experienced a better flaccid than if I were at home in the UK. Though at this time of year it might be about the same. In the winter it is a lot harder to stop turtling due to the cold weather.

I wouldn’t be able to say whether it actually affects my gains though.
