Ejaculation, DHT, Baldness

I have been researching hair loss for a while now, and today I came across some information indicating that ejaculating causes the conversion of Testosterone into DHT. It is next to impossible to filter through all the bullshit on the internet, especially in regards to baldness, because everybody just wants to sell you something, so I thought I would ask you guys. Any thoughts? Keep in mind that if you are not genetically pre-disposed to balding, no amount of DHT would make you go bald. I know myself, I have done a lot of ejaculating since I was a teenager, and my hair is thinning. It seems weird too, because none of my relatives have hair loss, and I am not very old.

Masturbation causes baldness, have you not seen all these bald teenagers?:D

Hair loss doesn’t happen overnight, so obviously teenagers would not all be bald. And, like I said before, if you are not genetically pre-disposed to it, then it is unlikely that ejaculating would have any effect whatsoever. I am trying to determine if ejaculating frequently causes higher levels of DHT in the body.

I don’t know about baldness, however, ejaculation on a daily/every other day keeps the prostate happy and healthy.

I would rather see a bunch of bald guys than guys whose dicks don’t work as well anymore because of prostate surgery. Think about it.

Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) affects the hair follicles in susceptible individuals because that’s one of the places it is produced (the others are the prostate, adrenal glands, and testes). It is the result of the action of the enzyme 5-alpha reductase on testosterone. Ejaculation has nothing to do with it.
