Edging for a week without ejaculation

The key point being “in time”. In the short term, it trains me to work at getting to the edge quickly, and then avoiding climax by reduction of stimulation. It the real world (during real sex) that’s a faulty way of delaying orgasm.

Now, in the LONG run, if you get good at edging WITHOUT reducing the stimulation, then, yeah, I guess it would be good training for real sex. That’s just not my experience with it.

I think if you are using edging as a training method to extend time during real sex, you had better spend as long as possible getting to the first edge. If you get yourself used to getting to the edge in under 5 minutes, that’s what will happen with a girl, too.

This past summer I was on work travel for almost 3 weeks. For the first two weeks I edged everyday, two sessions almost every day, and 3 -5 times each session. I finally had a free weekend so I went to get a massage. I’d never been to this place before so I didn’t know what to expect - but knew what I was hoping for. :)

Well, sure ‘nuf she brushed him between my legs while working the back of my thighs and he sprung to attention. Sparing the rest of the details.. When he finally blew it was epic. I’d have to say at least 8 solid streams, each one a great distance. It was everywhere - all over both of us. I think edging is worth the effort just for a show like this.

As far as PE and edging go.. This is my theory. PE is breaking down the tissue and that tissue needs to heal. If your tool is shrunken and cold for days of healing it will heal shrunken. To really gain from PE your tool needs to stay at least somewhat swollen/stretched. With this in mind I edge to keep my tool on edge too. Also, throughout the day I’m always taking every opportunity to keep him extended and not let him shrivel. One of my favorite maneuvers is swinging. I swing him rapidly side to side, slapping him against my hips. This rushes blood into him quickly and gives a bit of a stretch that seems to last quite a while. Again, just my theory but it makes sense to me. YMMV

I have gone for 10 days once, it wasn’t worth it. I have the biggest loads after 3-4 days of edging, over 7 days it gets less. I was also irritable and couldn’t sleep very well.

Question: how long does one edging-session take for You? Is there a time limit, after that one should stop? (I had a session for over 2 hours yesterday, that’s why I ask)

I also have long 2+ hour sessions of edging without ejaculating at the end of them, can this cause prostate inflammation? and is this ok?

I go a month between ejaculations (with sex most days plus some edging for PE ). It can make me a bit oversexed at times :)

Well when you edge I don’t think it’s a good idea to rush to the PONR… if you get there slowly, and stay relaxed, that in itself will help your staying power. I’ve learned that by being relaxed and in the moment and forgetting all about performance during sex, I can stay really long and by the time I’m getting close to PONR, we’ve already been going for long enough where it’s about time to haha. By practicing a slow elevation of your arousal while edging, I’m sure it translates to sex where you’ll delay the approach to the PONR. I agree, having to stop stimulation right when you both are close to climax would be frustrating.

My longest was just a week. I thought it was bad in the first place because i’ve read that you need to blow your load as frequently as possible because it’s healthy for the prostate. Any idea on this guys?

Haha. It’s funny how you use ‘him’ instead of ‘it’ for your tool! Weird!

You can ejaculate without cumming while you’re edging. This will get rid of the blue balls and probably help clean out the colon. You can do this after a day or two of edging. Once you begin another session after one or two days of edging, you should clench your PC muscle as hard as you can while you stimulate yourself right up to the edge, right away. When you get right up to the very edge, you have to stop abruptly, completely relax your PC muscle and do a reverse kegal. You should feel semen travel up and out of your shaft without contractions or orgasm. It is really easy to accidentally cum when doing this, though, because you have to push yourself right up to the edge and abruptly stop, relax the PC muscle and squeeze out like you are trying to push out your piss, but semen will come out instead.

It will not work if your PC muscle is still clenched at all when you reach the very edge. It takes a bit of coordination, but it is pretty amazing if you can get it.

Don’t hold ejaculations for too long. It’s bad for the prostate. Edging rocks but you have to keep a limit.
