So I have always wondered what dry jelqing was. I wet jelqed for the past few weeks. Today I dry jelqed and, oh my god, it is amazing. Get 50 - 70% erect and pull your foreskin back so it’s behind the head then grab the base and here’s the important part… THE SKIN MOVES WITH YOU instead of your hand sliding along the skin (like the wet jelq), and force the blood up the penis. After using both of these methods I can certainly say that dry jelqing gave me a much greater blood filled penis effect and the strokes last 2-3 seconds instead of 3-4 seconds. Anyone who is wet jelqing should switch to dry jelqing.

That can only happen if you are uncircumcised. Dry jelqs are easier if you are uncut; if you are cut, they end up being like mini-ULIs.

Be careful giving advice like that, Dry Jelqing can be much more intense and definitely not for everybody especially those that are not conditioned for it, we advise moderation around here because we don’t want Newbies breaking their unit.

Do i have to pull my foreskin behind the head for dry jelqing?

I’m uncut and solely do dry jelqing (partly because I do stealth-PE). I don’t pull my foreskin behind the head, for me that isn’t comfortable. Just try and see what works best for you.


Start 08/01/2013: BPEL 6.50 EG 5.70

First goal: BPEL 7.00 EG 6.00

I am cut but restored so that I have foreskin overhand when flaccid. I started last November doing wet jelqs. About 6 weeks ago switched to dry jelqs. I find that they are so much more intense. I am able to do 100-200 at a session.

I also have experienced greater increase in flaccid hang. Sometimes my flaccid hang is 7 inches. I have also notices an increase in morning wood, which I seldom had before dry jelqs.

My bpsfl is just over 8.5 inches now.

Also clamped last night. While clamped I used a taylor’s tape to measure glans girth. It measured at just under 7 inches. It was very firm and shiny as though it had been polished. Haha

Not having to mess with lube makes stealth PE much more plausible. Also, as I have in a draft for an update to my site: “I suggest you start out with neither an “OK” grip (encircling your cock) nor lubricant. If moving your lubricated hand along the shaft of your penis in an “OK” grip a reminds you of jacking off, it will even more when you actually try it.” My current favorite is a dry 3-finger grip, apparently also my favorite fifteen or so years ago when I made this illustration (we called it “milking” before the exotic and nonsensical term “jelqing” took over).

On another note, I find it amusing that someone can tell people what they “should” do after posting less than six weeks. I’ve been giving PE advice and instruction online for over sixteen years, and still haven’t reached that pinnacle of authority where I can to tell another guy what he “should” do, other than what feels right to him. You’re not alone in “shoulding” (one very prominent poster here does it a lot), but I’d advise against it. We each have our own path, and our own “shoulds.”

You should try the c-grip, Tom. It’s a cool dry jelq grip.

Edit : more on the topic, I like dry-jelqs alot, I think uncircumcised guys should start with dry jelqs, can’t speak for cut. The problem is that they are fucking stressful. I wouldn’t make use of a OK grip, it is very dangerous, and this stands for both cut and uncut people; and in wet jelqs too.

I think that’s just to get the animation. Imagine the hand moving rather than the dick stretching.

Marinera, what grip do you recommend?

I like dry jelqs, and I’m uncut. Wet jelqs aren’t as effective because my foreskin prevents my glans from being stimulated, at all, really. Dry jelqs get a little bit more with the movement. They ARE more intense, though. I didn’t ever really get sore after wet jelqing, even when I did it for lengths like 30 minutes. 10-15 minutes of dry jelqing and I’m usually feeling it (not in a bad way, just fatigued).

I recommend a parallel grip, with your fingers forming a ‘| |’ on the sides of the penis. Since this can be fatiguing, a ‘C’ grip, wich leaves space on the ventral side of the penis for blood to expand, can be adopted. Dry Jelqs are so intense that anyway the finger fatigue shouldn’t be a big issue, because you really need to do a low number of them. I’d say 1 dry jelqs = 5 wet jelqs, so to speak.
