Drop the warm-down

After I read the PI-article, I really started to focus on the PIs.

And it seems to me that my penis is a lot more “hung”, when I don’t do the warm down. Any one have the same experience and know why?

I have the same experience, but I think for me atleast it is because I am more aroused immediately after jelqing then say 10 minutes later after my hot shower. I like the warm down as it gets rid of the vaseline on my dick (from wet jelqing), and it feels less sore after. I usually go into a sitting fowfer if I want it to stay big. It’s just like showering after gym you sort of deflate.. It’s not a gain until it’s cemented!

In the gym have to work approximately a month to get to the “inflated” post workout look. No one said it was going to be easy. Not warming down and getting circulation back to normal could get you erection problems. Careful

Do your warm downs, they help in building up those microtears from PE.

Meh… I never did warm downs, I would be surprised if they made much difference. Warm-ups and warm-durings are a different story though.

When I get through with my stretching and Jelqing I use a cold cloth to cement my gains, also do the same when doing my hanging routine.

In my experience the answer is no you don’t need to cement gains with any kind of cold anything.

Cementing gains is not a thing you do as a one time thing post-workout.

What is meant by cementing gains is continuing to PE after achieving a gain to insure it stays once you stop. People will take days off and remeasure, if they lose the gain it was not cemented, so they resume PE. A cemented gain is one that stays consistently after several days off.

As far as warm down versus cold down versus nothing post-PE workout, there are a variety of schools of thought.

The warm down school has to do with getting more blood to the area after doing your work out. It will likely cause your flaccid to relax a little and seemingly lose some size, but by bringing blood to the region you increase the healing potential and give the organ a chance to heal.

Cold down: the idea is that after stretching and expanding the tissue you will cause the tissues to contract, but they will contract in a more extended state, thus leading to growth. This has the effect of shocking the tissue and will definitely cause the post PE workout flaccid to shrink.

The no warm down school feels that it’s not so important what you do post PE. The recovery process is what it is and the application of heat or cold will be of marginal importance overall in PE’s efficacy.

I think heat, myself. I’d agree that it’s not a tragedy if you skip the warm-down, but why not do it? Every little bit helps.
