Hey guys, I’m new to PE and I’m doing the newbie routine, doing some stretches and jelq exactly as it’s said but adding the stretch that goes under your legs.

I’m noticing some swelling but really small and it looks like it’s coming from the stretches. Is that possible? Is it dangerous?

And I’m doing that for about one month, should I get any results? I didn’t measure yet but I’m not feeling much difference..

What are you doing exactly? You could be over training.

Is it swelling or growth. When you start working your meat it has to feel different. If it’s swelling a few days off would be in order. It should go away. (Maybe ice it! It’s a quick method of reducing inflamation.) Good luck and keep us posted.

What you describe sounds like some edema from over training relative to your current conditioning level. Some guys are more sensitive to a given level of workout intensity than others. Back of a little, and gradually work up in intensity towards the standard Newbie Routine. But always let your EQ and PIs be the barometer of your personal PE tolerance level. We all have to do some fine tuning no matter the experience level.

Edema itself isn’t a big issue. Edema in other contexts is a symptom of some underlying issue; but in this case you caused it to happen by forcing fluid into your penis. That increased the pressure in the area and some fluid managed to diffuse through the cellular membrane walls and get trapped in void spaces. On it’s own the fluid will eventually drain out of the area (if it persists or worsens though then that would be a symptom of some underlying issue).

There are some things that can help speed up the process though:
1. Diuretics, like Caffeine, induce your kidneys to remove water from your body. This will lower your blood pressure slightly, and that will increase the diffusive force driving the trapped fluid back into your circulatory system. So have a shot of espresso or a cup of coffee.

2. Reduce your Sodium consumption. Your body tries to maintain a consistent concentration of salt for conducting electrical signals to and from the brain. If you consume less salt the concentration will drop; so your body will remove some water to get the concentration back up to the normal level.

3. Compress the area. This is basically just doing the opposite of what you did to cause your edema. You’re increasing the pressure on the fluid in the void spaces to push them back through the cellular walls and back into your regular circulatory system. Just make sure you don’t try to compress the area too tightly or you’ll cut off blood supply.

Some of the more experienced vets will wear condoms while exercising to avoid edema in the first place. The compression from the condom on your penis will make it harder for fluid to cross the membrane walls and get trapped.

I agree that edema isn’t itself worth much worry. I’ve tended to see it happen when starting jelqing after extended breaks from PE. It always ceases to occur quickly with consistent PE work, so acclimation to the stresses does in fact take place. Some guys get a little freaked when seeing for the first time since it looks so weird.

I have found that simple light massage speeds resolution of edema.

I have had chronic edema for almost 20 years and have never had it in my cock??? And caffeine, salt, and other natural diueretics don’t seem to affect it. I do take a beta-blocker for my portal hypertension but I never noticed where that makes any difference either. I wonder if my cock could get ascites too?

I’m doing 200 jelqs and stretching to each side for 30 secs five times each side. With the hot towel or hot shower before and after.
