Don't Jelq Too Hard

Newbies,

(Including, and especially me) I would advise against watching the example video on how to jelq etc., and copying it “exactly”. Ocifar appears to me, to be a veteran PE specialist with a huge unit. (I don’t want one that big, no, really ) :)

Anyway, I say this, because I used what appeared to me, to be a similar amount of pressure Ocifar uses in the example video as a newbie. Red spots, a little bit of pain etc. So, I will switch to the “C” grip going forward.

Mods and/or Thunder, is it possible to have a video showing someone a little less endowed, showing an example of the “typical” pressure that a newbie should use? It’s just a thought. I am someone who sees things, and translates them literally in practice. (subconsciously) Thanks for your consideration.

In the beginning I would get little red spots, pin prick size. But I didn’t really care to much, they went away within 10 hours and I read they shouldn’t be considered a problem Jelq and Jelqing
Now I rarely get any spots which means one of two things. either my nob has died, or the capillary or vain walls have become thicker and more able to handle pressure. Since I used my nob last night with the misses I think the latter is probably the case.

I think that the video was great. yep, he has a big one, but that’s good for the video. I mean you can see the jelqing stroke better.
In the penis enlargement manual it suggests not going above 80% maximum erection initially. I think this is excellent advice. I think after the penis is conditioned to PE training the harder the better, so long as you warmup properly first and build up the pressure slowly I think it’s okay (after the penis is conditioned to PE). Any pain and I relax the grip and thus the pressure immediately, better to walk on the safe side of the road.

I think the Acid jazz said the same as you, just wanted to let people know that the should start with less pressure, just like you said they should. And he has a point, if there is a video where he uses an intense grip, there should be stated that he is a veteran and that one should start with a less intense grip.

I wonder what measurements the guy from the jelq video started at and how long it took him to make the gains he got

I do a grip that is comfortable too, any sign of pain and I reduce the pressure. Maybe it’s too light but heck, I’d rather have no gains than damage my cock.

Thanks for the reply. I just think it’s important to know not to copy what he was doing in the videos “exactly”. It appears to me, that he can’t squeeze any harder during his jelqs. I got little red dots, and like you weren’t worried, I’m not either.

But, we are talking about our precious pieces, and when I see something, I try to replicate it in action. (even though, consciously, I know it would be too hard) Maybe a vet could start a thread on “how to listen to your dick”. (what are the signs and symptoms that you are executing PE CORRECTLY, not just incorrectly)

The other thing I try to take into account when watching them is that Ocifar seems way too damned erect in some of those videos. As a newbie I don’t beleive anybody should ever be that erect while exercising. I am a year into it and I still am cautious about that.

I think “how to listen to your dick” is a great idea.

That is my point, exactly. It appears as though he is 90 to even 100% erect, and squeezing the hell out of it. I’m glad It’s not me just seeing things. Great videos for technique for sure, but maybe a guy with a smaller unit doing a newbie version might help prevent injuries to the over zealous?

Well I give Ocifar a lot of credit for putting them together, it was a hell of a job to do that. Pretty damn brave and time consuming!

And I guess inspirational and motivating too.

Think of it this way, we probably would not have much confidence in weightlifting demos starring an obese or scrawny guy!

It is the most complete set of PE videos that I know of — especially for a free site.

I just think all it needs is a little disclaimer, which I do beleive already exists on the videos page.

I jelq at 80-90% erection level. I see more gains at these level but as a measure of caution newbies should jelq at much lower erection levels 65-75% is good. One your penis is conditioned and depending of the result you get when jelqing at a certain level one can safely increase their erection level but keep in mind that the grip must be less tighter or else you will injure yourself.

As to the video, I do agree with you, if it is not clear then you should change it. Make a request to ThunderSS by sending a video that you think might be clearer to newbies. If ThunderSS judges it to be a good idea, it will be approved.

No doubt about it Sta-kool you are correct, and it is much appreciated.

I was/am simply conveying my thoughts, based on my recent newbie experience, and how there could be some add-ons. :)

Wow, that is a great idea. AJ, I think you would be a good model, you are sporting a good-sized unit.

Working the jelq up to mid shaft did prevent me a lot of red spot in my glans, but is not quite related to the thread.

I used to get some red pin prick spots when I warmed up with a warm wet flannel. However, since switching to a wheat bag for warm up purposes, I have not had any red spots.

For information, I am on the newbie routine. Just good old jelqing and stretching.
