Okay, maybe I DO get a little carried away with the whole, “Never Let it Turtle,” thing. But for me this has become a bit of a vendetta. I hate the way it feels to turtle, and hate even more the way it makes me feel and look. However, you guys have made some good points, and as mentioned above, urologists all seem to agree that turtling is a good thing. I’ve talked with several on the subject, and argued my case for years with my own doctor. I posted that thread years ago, but her opinion on the subject has not changed, and neither has mine. Although I have removed the Never Let it Turtle suggestion from my sig, yet for some reason it keeps coming back. But here’s the deal, as I see it.
We all know that penis retraction (Turtling) is the body’s way to protect you dick from trauma. Whenever we stress penile tissue either with rough sex, excessive masturbation or especially with aggressive PE, the penis will withdraw into the body to heal. This is both normal and healthy.
Some retract more than others. We see this with Growers V/S Showers, and also with thick pads V/S little to no fat pad. The idea is, According to Doc, in times of stress, or possible injury, the body pulls the penis out of harms way to heal. That being, a retracted penis is protected to heal, whereas one left dangling in the wind is more vulnerable to the same trauma that stressed it in the first place.
This is my side to the argument:
1: On the Physical Side what Keeps a penis healthy and safe is not always effective for the craft we call natural PE. PE is anything but natural. Natural would be simply letting the dick hang, shrink or do whatever it wants to do, or better what our body tells it to do. With this obsessive little hobby we are forcing, or attempting to force an unnatural, unsafe process on penile tissue for the purpose of deforming, stretching, and engorging it to a point where it stays in that condition. Even more importantly, preventing it from healing up short, in the retracted position, which I think it will do if allowed to heal turtled up after hanging heavy weights.
2: On the Psychological Side: When a man looks down, or sees himself in the mirror, seeing a nice long, fat flaccid hang affects us in a way that is very positive. It affects our mental image of ourselves, boosts our self esteem. On the other hand, if we look at our bodies and see a tiny retracted dick, where nothing but the tip is showing outside the body, this affects us negatively, especially for those hardcore growers out there. This impact can be enormous. I know. I’ve been there. Being born a grower is bad enough, but added to a situation where a grower has a thick fat pad, the self image can be crippling to the man’s masculinity.
3: The idea that deformed penile tissue that heals in an elongated state will encourage micro tears to heal elongated, and force new cells to fill in the gaps has always sounded very logical to me, and even to the good doctor. However, she feels the injury this kind of extreme deformation produces outweighs the length gains.
According to Doc, an average sized or even smaller than average sized healthy, retracting penis is much better than an unusually large penis that has lost its ability to retract. This is why she is so against cutting ligaments, I am as well, but I’m not against stretching them.
However, I’ll say this in conclusion: My methods have always been extreme, and dangerous. I’ve always pushed the envelope to the max, because, quite honestly, I’d rather be dead, than have the tiny, constantly turtled up dick that I was born with. For me the risk is, and always has been well work the gains I’ve made.
In my eight years of PE I have gained well over two inches girth and about an inch, maybe a little less in erect length. After a long extended break, I lost some of the erect length gains, but did not lose any girth or flaccid length, which to me is much more important than erect length. However, I keep gaining girth, and this has become a bit of a problem.
I think the trouble lies in the fact, I have become psychological, and even somewhat physically addicted to the routines that bring girth gains, and it is starting to affect my sex life in a negative way that I never thought was possible.
My dick literally hurts women if I get too rough. I love rough sex and find it difficult to hold back. I can no longer fuck balls deep with anyone without hurting them and I hate this.
I can no longer receive quality blowjobs. A few minutes sucking give them jaw aches, so three minute blowjobs have become the norm. Licking and sideways corncob nibbles are about all I can expect from any woman, and I’ve kind of come to accept this.
I’ve also removed my stats from my sig, because I can’t actually remember what my beginning stats were, and regrettably I neglected to take any before pics. But looking at old home sex videos compared to current ones, it looks like I have at least doubled, maybe even tripled my total penile volume, especially my flaccid volume which looks thicker soft than hard due to all the excess skin I’ve gained that slides down over the shaft making it look like an 8” flaccid girth.
My current stats are 7X7 erect, closer to 8” girth at the base, and my flaccid stats are about the same and this is big enough for me.
