After much research, I finally decided to start a routine. My goal is to increase my girth by ~0.5in as safely as possible. My current stats are 6.5 NBPEL and ~4.8 meg. I figured In order to decrease my risk of injury, I would do a low amount of jelqs for the first few weeks and during this time both help condition for longer jelq sessions and learn about my penis and what effects jelqing has on it. My routine right now is to warm up with a hot wash cloth for 10min, about 5 minutes of jelqing and hot shower as a cool down. Over the summer, I will slowly increase the amount of jelqs. I use a mixture between the ok grip and the C grip for jelqing (just an okay grip but pretty much only put pressure on the sides) because I have read that this decreases the risk of nerve damage. I have decided not to incorporate stretches because I am happy with my length already and I think stretches is just another variable to worry about in terms of injury. Also it takes more time.

Is this line of thought correct? Will this routine of only jelqing with a C grip and not incorporating stretches help me towards my goal of a 0.5in increase in girth?

I have tried to provide all the information for my routine so please critique if you think there is a better way to achieve my goal of increasing girth while having the lowest possible risk of injury.

Stretching likely helps with girth gains. It’s the old “man stretches a balloon before he inflates it” idea. A person, or clown, or whoever, is going to inflate one of those long “twist it up into an animal” type of balloons will stretch it lengthwise three or four times before he inflates it. Stretching the material in a linear fashion still softens it up so it will expand in a radial way more easily. I don’t believe a few minutes worth of stretching is really where significant length gains come from anyway. It is more likely from low erection jelqs followed by some sort of all day stretching. Thanks for your response, raybbaby. I see the logic in the idea and it makes sense. I think I will add a few minutes of light stretches into my warm up just to loosen things up, but I don’t think I will go all out on the stretches. Seems reasonable? Or is it already figured out that a stretch routine will compliment the jelqing? I wouldn’t mind a bit of extra length, but it wouldn’t really matter to me that much so I don’t want to waste time on it. However if it helps with the girth, I will incorporate stretches in my routine.

Dickershwanz, yeah my plan after a couple months of jelqing, I would start doing some more advanced exercises for girth. But right now, I’m just focused on jelqing. Even after just two workouts, my flaccid is larger and I noticed one of the small purple veins get more noticeable. I was freaked out at first, but people said that it was normal. Also it went back to normal after a day.. I hope that’s normal haha

I can’t be sure if it helped, but I randomly threw in some stretching like a few days of 12min each day under an IR lamp and I gained girth right away. Could be other factors involved but it had to be either that, the rest days for a bit of conditioning or the pyramiding routine. Good luck man, post your results.

Beyourbest, thanks for the input. I don’t have an IR lamp but I think I will just stretch while applying heat with a wash cloth. It seems that with some good heat and stretching, it will really help loosen everything for some possible girth gains. At least I hope. These ideas make a lot of sense to me and I will definitely incorporate these into my routine. I’ll give an update in a few weeks or so

That sounds like a good plan. Slow and steady is the way to go in P.E. As for the possibility of girth gains from stretching, I believe that stretching tends to increase base shaft girth significantly more than any other part of the shaft. Long time hangers also report gains in base shaft as well.

As for your quest for girth gains, I will say from experience that a 0.5” gain should be attainable anywhere between 12 months to 24 months using only a manual only girth routine like jelqing. I think it’s important to maintain a realistic perspective on your expectations. The maximum potential for gains attainable after years of P.E tends to hover around 2” in length and 1” in girth. The gains however are not linear in time. A gain of 1” in length and 0.5” in girth usually happens after 12 months (for fast gainers) to 24 months (for hard gainers) of consistent P.Eing. After this period, you will spend the remaining years of your P.E career chasing the remaining 1” x 0.5”.
