Can anyone suggest reasons why the medical profession is so stubborn to accept that PE works?
I had also read some threads that say that the NBPEL remains unchanged while the BPEL increases. What could be the reasons?
The medical industry still does not 100% “accept” that exercise is beneficial. MD’s as a profession are much more like to be overweight than the general population and they actually have shorter life expectancy than the general population.
If they can not prescribe a medication for it they are unlikely to accept it. It all comes down to money, unfortunately. I am not to say that modern medicine does not have its benefits. It certainly does. I am just saying that it is important to understand that they do not have all the answers by any stretch of the imagination.
