Does large GIRTH affect length gains?

… or any other progress for that matter?

As I have a large 7” girth when erect, but am only 5.25” in erect length.

I’ve been doing PE for about 4 months now, and though I haven’t done my stretches correct until the last 4-6 weeks, I have got no…

length gains,
PIs gains
EQ gains.

I’m wondering if this frustrating lack of ANY change whatsoever is due to my proportion of large girth to relatively short length. Something to do with a wider volume of tissue that needs to be manipulated than most people here, maybe that is part of the problem?

I’m getting nowhere with my PE here and there is talk that large girth makes it harder to gain length, some say it does, some say it doesn’t. But I’d like to get to the bottom of it and ask what people here think and advise? Anyone?

What stretches are you doing? How long per day? I’d increase it. Do you feel any fatigue while performing them and after?


When conguering a golddigger you need a large bank account, when conquering a dickdigger you need a large tool. When conquering a woman you need a minimum of three things: money, class and yes: dick size. Good news are, you can actually improve in all these three aspects.

Interesting. I have noticed I tend to add girth easier even doing PE that is intended for length. I am no where near what you are working with, but I can see where you may not want anymore girth, or it could be a problem, but you may want more length.

We could call it a flip when someones girth passes up their length. It must be rare. Are you measuring at the very base? I think most girth measurements are made in the middle.

I don’t believe girth makes more than the tiniest difference to how easily length gains come.

The biggest factor in the equation is heat. More girth requires a lot more time heating to penetrate deeply enough into the tissues.


Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. And the ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth.

Jay, based on my analysis it MAY affect length gains. I started a little on the bigger side of girth too so I wondered the same thing. As part of the statistical analysis I posted here Penis Size & PE Growth Rate Study @ Thundersplace I did analyze this, length gains vs. starting girth however I did not post the results because I considered them inconclusive. The answer from the statistical POV is that yes, higher starting girth does correlate with less length gain, however the big issue here is higher starting girth (6+”) also correlates with less consistent or higher attrition PE, so it is difficult to say where this correlation comes from. I didn’t dig any deeper, but maybe cracking into this in the future is something worth doing if other people are also interested. Personally for me I felt like whether PE had a potential yield of .75” or 2” I felt it was worth it. My gains based on elapsed time have not been under the median, and I agree with Firegoat in that basically it shouldn’t make a difference. Perhaps more force needs to be used, something like that, but I don’t think girth really truly limits length gains.

Mine are made in the base. 7 inches.

Last time I measured my erect girth I was still 7 inches, so even after PEing there was no gain there.

I’ve had no real positive PIs as far as I have seen.

My Daily Routine at the moment is…

8 minutes Heat
15 minutes Stretch (I only started doing this correctly about 6 weeks ago, which was about 2 1/2 months into doing PE. Before this I was jelqing for 30 seconds at a time up to 10 minutes)
20-30 minutes Jelq (I had reached and maintained myself doing 30 minutes since I reached the 3 month mark. But the last week, which is about the 4 month mark, I have been Jelqing less and less until I reached a minimum of 20 minutes, some days I go like 25 minutes, then some days after I do 23 etc.)
10 minutes Heat
7 minute Kegel

I find that Kegels do sod all to my erections, no higher EQ noticed whatsover.

No other real PIs, maybe thicker veins but that may be my imagination.

So basically I see no results at all from PE.

By 5.25” long OP means NBPEL (not bone-pressed), or is it bone-pressed?

Got it, well maybe the more experienced guys have better advice, but my first thought is to watch some jelqing videos and really examine your technique. Not gaining even a millimeter in the first months is VERY suspect. Personally I think you can’t go wrong hitting it from multiple angles i.e. jelqing, extending, pumping, stretching. - I don’t have enough faith in any one discipline to use just one and I suspect some synergy in using them together.

Yes it’s frustrating that I got nothing in the first few months, and it makes me wonder about the legitimacy of what I am told in this place.

But I do wonder if it was because I wasn’t stretching right.

Instead of actually pulling on my penis for 30 seconds, what I was doing was 30 second jelqs for the first 2 /12 months. Doing this from 5 minutes to reach up to 10 minutes by 2 1/2 months.

I do fear that this may also have ruined things for me, and conditioned my penis to NOT be able to get erect length increases when I DID start doing stretches properly.

Stupid sight isn’t letting me upload any pics for some reason.

As my gains came from a combination of stretching for hours per day using Phallosan Forte and ~20 minutes jelqing per day I can only speak to the effectiveness of that. I imagine using just jelqing and stretching I would have gained, but I did not go that route so I cannot say for sure. I do think that when you are only do jelqing and stretching, technique becomes a huge factor. Also as Firegoat mentioned many people talk about using heat, which I do now when I jelq however most of my current gains came before employing heat but I hope it is helping things. I see it as a case where if something doesn’t cost much - which nothing PE related I have seen costs much - and it’s not dangerous, and it doesn’t take too much time, why not try it.
