OK. I started the newbie routine today. However I jelqed whilst my penis was flaccid. Is that a problem. Is it necessary to have a semi-erection whilst jelqing?

Utterly flaccid- or just not significantly erect?

You can’t jelq at 0% or 100% erect- generally around 60%-85% is the sweet spot.

Yes. Was 0%. Damn. So wasted session. I need to know what cushion times there are between my 5 minutes of hot massaging with a towel to the 5 minutes of manual stretching to the 10 minute jelq.

Can I wait a little after the manual stretching to get a boner?

Do it at your own pace. But IMO, probably more efficient time wise, to jelq as soon as you are done stretching (including time to work up erection).

Stretch first, jelq second- or is that jelq first stretch second?- again, no ‘rules’. Trial and error.
Personally after a good stretch, my unit isn’t giving up much good wood- I’d rather take advantage of available wood.

Don’t think of it as a brick in a wall- think of it as ‘practice’- like yoga for your peepee. You just keep refining and refining until you’ve achieved the best you can be.

Try using a fairly loose cock ring to help maintain erection quality while jelqing.

No. Do not try this.

For a few reasons.

The first is this: the Newbie Routine is the best introduction to PE. Most people get their best gains from it. It is tried and true.

It also has the effect of helping people get to know their physiology better than any mechanical device ever could. Learning how your body responds to stress is a big part of successful PE.

Lastly, it’s true that stretchers have been show to be effective, but the noose stretchers are the least desirable. First, because they are sold commercially for way too money, and secondly, but more importantly because the noose will give you circulation issues.

Of the commercial products the Penimaster is much better and monkeybar has a vacuum based extender that is better still. Anyone can go to the Review part of the forum and see all the different stretchers and make their own judgment.

But in the meantime do not short-change yourself of the benefits of the Newbie Routine.

Hi. Sorry about this.

I worked out today and I can say my penis was definitely bigger whilst doing the routine. However I found it hard to keep a semi-erection but my penis was able to maintain the biggest it could go in the flaccid state ( I think) without getting even a little hard.

And after my routine went soft kind of quickly.

Any thoughts/tips from anyone?

Suggest you jelq first, then stretch.

How flaccid are we talking- a really soft semi? If you were even slightly engorged, you’re no longer at that 0% level- start estimating in terms of % erect- not ‘flaccid’ [it’s a mindset thing].

Are you watching porn? Using magazines? Reading erotica*? What are you doing to stimulate your wood?

I’m in the bathroom just looking at myself in the mirror. I do this really late at night like 2 in the morning. I think you make a good suggestion - I should jelq then stretch.

I might start doing it in my room.

Is it ok to bed hump a little before I jelq.
