My position is that penis statistics are wildly unreliable, even the medical ones, as there are no details given about whether they are bone pressed, non bone pressed, mid shaft or base girth (or an average of several girth measurements along the penis), and the non-medically induced erections are bound to understatement due to I assume the lowered erection quality under those circumstances. There’s nothing definitive and for the life of me I have no idea why a survey of over 1000 men has not been conducted with strict measurement criteria, medically induced, for the condom industry at least.

Guys have applied various “conservative” assumptions to the 15 medical studies listed in the thread I mentioned (e.g., assuming NBP in the cases where BP isn’t specified, assuming EL is significantly greater than FSL, etc.), and you basically still never find an average BPEL of over about 6”, except in the Cancun study, where selection bias was likely quite severe.
